Theres a reason we dont carry jlg scissors. Skyjacks are the way to go, lgmgs have really sensitive sensors and some contractors refuse to use them- plus the paint is peeling off our units less than a year old. Genies seem to have constant issues aswell in my opinion.

I spend alot of time on these machines, specifically the JLG machines and Genie machines. The JLG's are notoriously terrible with how their trigger works. especially when the mechanism starts to get sloppy n dirty. the gimmick is this. you have to press the trigger on the joystick before any other input is detected. this includes whatever slight wiggle you give the stick when you are just trying to squeeze the safety trigger. heaven forbid the joystick mechanism has begun to experience the big controller version of joystick Drift. I like the Genie lifts better, we call em the mercedes of lifts

JLG lifts are terrible, in my opinion. We have multiple scissor lifts. All the same model JLG, and they all run differently. No two are alike. Most have very lazy joysticks and deadman switches, and one responds better than the rest, but is still far from great. They steer very slow, and when switching modes from driving to raising or lowering, there is sometimes such a bad lag that the lift will continue to operate in the mode you just switched out of for two to three seconds before switching to the mode you want to be in. The level sensors also seem to go off for no reason, requiring you to lower back down before you can drive. We used to run Genie lifts and they were fantastic. These, not so much.
