I love your 'Power Wagon'. Frame up a structure from the trailer for your solar panels and run a bead of silicone caulk between the meeting edges of your solar panels. You'll have a little roof to keep the heavy rain off whatever containment you come up with for the rest of the gear. For the moment, an upside down storage tub screwed to a piece of plywood that is mounted to the trailer deck will do the job. All you need to do is keep the dust and dew off the electronic components until the monsoon rains show up. 👍

I have a more professional plan for the portable solar! Better trailer and better set up. Definitely will be making the solar panels more of a roof structure to capture water as well! Thanks for the suggestion and support!✌🏾

I have inverters (Ecoflow River) but during a 9 hour power outage I realized that they will NOT keep my fridge running up to temp and the deep freeze is too much to even run. I tried the circular saw on it and it won't run it. So small deep freeze it will run. That's a wonderful idea to make it portable ... can even move it to track the sun for better charge Thank you for the demonstration!!!

Yea sizing your solar equipment is the hardest part because it does get expensive the bigger the system. But glad to show what I came up with! Thank you!✌🏾

Make a solar powered roof awning above the trailer, now you have shade and a solar rack, set up your system inside the cart where it won't get wet, now you have a solar powered cart...I use a Dewalt power station for my portable work power needs, I charge the Dewalt power station with solar, I weld with that sucker.

I love that idea! It's all about making everything portable and efficient. 😎✌🏾

Possibly! We still have to make accommodations for ourselves!😅✌🏾

Why not just change the batteries at the camp/solar panels? Check out "off grid living in the high desert of Arizona". He has good tests of batteries.
@GrowTreeOrganics4 ай бұрын
That's a whole other set up. But now I can leave the trailer wherever and it'll charge the battery. We'll have power anywhere on the property without having to swap batteries back and forth. ✌🏾
