Greatest thing ever when they put cactus and Charlie in the dumpster and tipped it over the edge of the high stage. Best single angle in a long time at the time. cool to see everyone to pretend to break character and even Vince came out and gave them a dressing down. I was sold on these troublemakers permanently then

Just so everyone knows, it was Sean Waltman that started suck it. He started it in WCW and Hall and Nash started doing it. Then Waltman went to The WWF and The New Age Outlaws and DX started doing it. The more you know!

The first time I went to a WWF show was in either 1999 or 2000 and I can’t remember. I live in North Carolina and before the Monday night wars the WWF didn’t come here all the time, it might be once every three years or something , But the new age outlaws were a big part of that show and those two have always been my favorite WWF tag team of all time.

Needless to say when my grandmother seen it she took my brother back in cut a promo on the barber and had him shave his head! LMAO 🤣

Austin gets pretty much all of the credit for winning the war with WCW for WWF. But The New Age Outlaws, Mick Foley, and The Rock played extremely important supporting roles in this happening. Bret Hart being a heel was awesome as well.
@blueblur2273

The thing with tnao was that they weren't good enough to go solo....billy Gunn is a proof to that. Same goes for hardyz and somewhat Dudley's. I think edge and Christian are the one who broke the mold. Both guys main eventers. Bully ray was great. And then we have JBL, my personal fav in terms of heels. I don't think Jeff was main eventer even tho he was more or less around 08, 09. But he has always been a awful promo. That's the other strange thing with tnao, they could do a good promo...together at least, but solo?

From what I remember watching as a teenager I'd have to agree with you. Billy was the better worker, but Road Dogg was the personality and voice of the team. He was also the one that really put them on the map when he'd be on the mic before they even left the backstage area. He was the first one to do this schtick successfully and it really got over with the fans.

Unpopular opinion, but I don't know what the hell it was about Rockabilly that always made me laugh and love Billy in that character. Just that he was doing all these dances like a dork and having a meanstreak then smashing a guitar over someone's head was always great. I liked it during it's brief run. No Bruce, the real reason you're kissing RoadDoggs ass is because of his position in WWE right now

@Wild Hearts I am serious. It's always been my opinion on them. The braided hair and the ghetto dance acting like another race. The smoking Gunn's were a joke and we're only pushed because they were the only team and Brian James was just a roadie. The weakest of of the Armstrong wrestlers. This team only shined because there were no other options. When Bret Hart left WWF it went to Hell.

Not a fan of these extended shows where Conrad reads from a long list of matches and Bruce comments on each one. Too structured. I'd rather have a about an hour or two show where they discuss key moments and matches and more or less shoot talk on the career.
