No matter how much wealth, status, and fame you have, you still can't escape the pain of a loved one's passing. Queen Elizabeth II lost her husband, Prince Philip, in early 2021, and although she put on a brave face for the public, she no doubt deeply mourned his passing in private. Few people are privileged to see the private lives of monarchs, but recently, the queen's dressmaker and stylist opened up about what happened in the disconsolate moments after Prince Philip's funeral. How did the queen react once the prying eyes of the paparazzi were safely shut out? Her stylist spills how the queen really reacted after Philip's funeral.

she was married to him for 73 yrs, that is literally a lifetime. my dad was born the year her father passed away, and he died last year of Covid, just 3 months after Phillip died. at 69 he was literally younger than their entire marriage. my mom only spent 30yrs with my dad and she was devastated by his passing, i can't imagine how the Queen must've felt after loosing the man she spent 73 yrs with.

It's kind of weird to say on one hand "Everyone needs to mind their business" and then on the other hand say "Everyone needs to pay for them". Lmao that's why it's better in the U.S. we make sure we get what we pay for, The President's lives are all recorded and all on display so that the people can be assured of the leadership we pay for. I think this is one of the many reason Britain has lost its place in the world and now in the U.K. being 3rd now to Germany and France. Like for instance our Presidents son will not be President on birth yet we still have the right to even look into his laptop and it all be reported to the people even though he has nothing to do with The White House. All is on display to make a more informed voter and American, and to hold those accountable.

I adore the Queen. She's my favorite person in the world. As a member of the Commonwealth and Canada I've always been so proud of her as our Queen. When she lost Prince Philip it just broke my heart. Seeing her all alone in that pew will still bring a tear to my eye. Theirs was a beautiful love story. I'm so glad that she had him as her man and support for all those years. After he died it seemed that every time you'd see her she'd seem a little more frail. I will love her forever. She will always been my Queen. ❤️

My heart went out to the queen in everything that she has gone through this past year since Prince Philip's health issues, death, and all of the funeral ceremonies that she has attended. My heart has gone out to the entire Royal Family seeing all of them attending the funeral services. The queen is always so pulled together and handles things in a very dignified way. She sets a great example for everyone. It was truly heart breaking to see her distanced from the rest of the family during Prince Philip's funeral. I know that this must have been an extremely difficult thing for her to have gone through. The entire family has been in the spotlight so much through this all. I know that Prince Philip would have been proud of his family and the ceremonies in his honor upon his passing. May he Rest in Peace.

Carrying on with her duties is what is keeping her sane. Prince Charles and his shameless antics with Camille over the years, knowing they all shared some responsibility for Diana's death in varying degrees, Charles most of all, the Harry/Megan debacle, Prince Philip's death, I am sure the routine of opening the red boxes and the familiar routine is a mindless relief to Her Magesty. She is loved and admired the world over and when she passes off the world stage, something grand and quite rare will have been lost. Queen Elizabeth has certainly kept the vow she made of "dedicating my (her) whole life, whether long or short to my country." She is a treasure and only a few days away from her 91st birthday. I met my husband a few months after his mother died. Hie dad was a pastor and had been married for 60 years. He didn’t retire until he was 83 a few years after he died. We spent some time together and at church usually sat together with my husband, his son, who joined us after performing with the band. That day they kept moving us so we ended up in the middle of the row and my husband was on the aisle. During the service I saw he was emotional and told him that he was allowed to grieve and that he didn’t need to be strong for anyone else at this moment and he began to cry. At the end of the sermon they asked for people to come to the front if anyone needed prayers and he looked at me and I nodded. My husband moved to join me and he was surprised that he had gone. I told him this was probably the first time nobody needed to rely on him and he could speak to a stranger more easily. He joined us thanked me and said he felt better and hadn’t been able to shed tears until then. Everyone grieves differently and I am sure that she relied on Philip’s perspective on various matters and misses him terribly but his health had been failing so his death wasn’t a shock. She is a remarkable woman.

Men, if this was taught to you as a child, please Listen, keeping grief bottled up,Only makes you ill inside you are human, and have a heart & emotions just as women do,, why even The Lord Jesus cried, many times, both as a child & as a Man, He cried when on the Cross at Calverley when he gave up his life for everyone of us, it's Not Shameful as you were taught, it is a way of healing, of releasing your pain, it shows you are Human, just like The Lord, when He cried., he even tels us in His Word. Such a misleading click bait of a title. Shame on you. And the sound bite of the queen talking about how frightening it was to have serious covid is a remark NOT about herself but about the gentleman she was addressing on zoom.......taken deliberately out of contex. Shame on you.

What the heck does it matter that it was Andrew by her side at the Service of Thanksgiving for Prince Philip? No matter what he may have ever said or done or ever will the fact remains that Queen Elizabeth still loves him unconditionally. I don't believe she would ever turn her back on him. Also it is her right to choose to have him there by her side. His presence may have been very comforting to her. People need to quit being so judgmental. Queen Elizabeth has always had good judgment and has reigned with dignity and grace.

@@lesababy Agreed. Like you said that was his beloved Father and I am sure he wanted to remember and honor him. It has always been said Andrew was Queen Elizabeth's favorite child, I'm sure he has disappointed his parents at times in his life but you don't turn your back on your child. You love them unconditionally and there are truly just too many sanctimonious sinning people in this world who like to sit in judgment of others. Hope your weekend was a great one.

The media might have said there was an uproar about Andrew escorting the Queen, but who can believe the media. They make a mountain out of a molehill. People there at the time said there was no such thing. Even on social media there has been a lot of support for the gesture. That doesn't sell news, so they have to dramatize the event.

Yes it’s true the media only wanted to gain money and more money, but alas we all love Prince Andrew, he lives with his mom, and he helps her always , who is perfect in this world? No one , the only one perfect is our God and master , let’s pray for our Queen to remain strong and enjoy her Jubilee and all her complete family will be with her including her son Andrew who is good man , I know he still does his Charity quietly, as the media always trying to bring down and evil doers . May God bless the entire RF.

It’s also been mentioned our queen had suffered with myeloma, bone marrow cancer. It’s not listed on her COD cert, but a journalist from here in UK who is close to royals, was told by a pal of Philips, who also said the queen knew she was dying. Which is backed up by her daughter, Anne, who said during an interview “my mother was concerned about passing in balmoral, due to logistics regarding funeral, and said it would be better to go back to london” to which Ann said she replied “I don’t think you should be concentrating on that right now” Also, I think the majority of us here in UK don’t like Andrew, but whatever he’s done or not done, he still lost a parent, and still had a mother to support during that time.
