Fired right off. Nice. Check your throttle cable and ICV. Betting you need to loosen up the tension on the throttle cable to drop the idle a little. When its warmed up it should be idling quite a bit lower. Make sure all the clamps and hoses are tight and there are no vacuum leaks because obviously that will cause the engine to idle erratically as well.

+skymac79 it's approximately 46" wide - I have them available without the mounting ears welded on, maybe that could work for you. What project are you working on?

Hi mister, I have a question for you about exhaust system , did you eliminate the catalytic converter and the O2 sensor or you have put one catalytic converter and the O 2 sensor, can you tell me about it please I really appreciate, that than you.

can you do a exhaust tone video of the ford muffler you use on your conversions? thinking of running that muffler on my bus, ej22 single port obd2. I want something that sounds throaty but quiet, let me know! thanks brother.

your help.vw beetle with an ej22 1992 motor. i want to eliminate tha charcoal caniste ( the emission control law here does notr exist ).1.block off the throtle body tube vacuum tube(otherwise it will suck air) 2. connect the purge control valve( if not the ecu will throw a code error 35). so question is : the 2 small tubes on the purge control valve should i leave them open ? should i block off them or loop them? thanks in advance. george

+GEORGE BOURDEISON Hi George, I would just leave the purge control sol valve vacuum connections disconnected and follow the rest of your plan. I do this most of the time. Good luck!

George, thanks for the heads up - I'll definitely have to check that out. I'm assuming it will work with all OBD 2 Subarus through the Select Monitor interface?
