Just bought a 2020 Limited with 75,000 miles. It feels quite solid and no creaks/rattles. Very comfortable cruiser, and LOVE the adaptive cruise control. It has TRANSFORMED my commute. I’ve been getting about 29 around town. I really like the two tone tan/black interior over the all black.

Thanks Daniel for sharing. Great buy. Subaru active safety and cruise control is defiantly well executed. And at 75k miles, she is just a baby. All the best to you and happy motoring.

Can drive all day in an Outback, fabulous cars. Not mega quick but once you get used to it they can shift. Point is, I had one. More than enough power for daily use. S/I drive selector is excellent. Outran a VW Golf GTD on hilly roads once. No way could they keep up yet the Outback was heavier and less BHP. Its how you use it.

So, after one year with it, have you had to take it in for ANY reason? I'm looking at a 2021 with 38K miles, has no warranty left (except for powertrain).
@danielpederson1084Ай бұрын
@@ofcbob6391 I did. It had the Thermo Control Valve failure, which is common. In fact Subaru has extended coverage for that, and they reimbursed me for the cost of the repair. Otherwise it’s been great.

@@danielpederson1084 Would you say that thermo control valve is a part of the "powertrain" and would be under warranty in my case?

I had a 2016 model Outback in the UK. Fantastic car, and they have improved on it with the new model which I may look at next year as a good low mileage used example.

I have a 2016 2.5 Outback limited with 65k miles and doesn’t creak anywhere.

Thanks. Appreciate you weighing in. It’s good to get others experiences to get a more complete picture. Other than the occasional dash creak this specific Outback has been flawless for its owner.

I have a 2013 3.6 Outback Limited with 119K miles and the front passenger seat squeaks and creaks ONLY when someone is sitting there. The light tan leather seats have a nice shade of blue from jeans transference. Other than that... zero mechanical problems.
@BeyondTheTestDrive Жыл бұрын
That 3.6 is a cool car. Thanks for sharing your experience, great to hear. I have seen older tan leather exactly like that. 😂. Thanks again for watching and commenting. All the best.

That’s hilarious! I have a 2018 3.6 outback touring, w/tan leather, and my driver seat is the only thing that squeaks. I’ve tried wd40 but…unfortunately I think it’s inside the seat. Love the car though!

Mine has 100,000 miles mechanically sound never had an issue outside of the blower motor, but it was cheap and easy to fix
