Subaru Outback Spider Roof Rack Install

One problem I see is that the sealant added on the roof rain gutters will impede water from draining. The gutter is narrow and the sealant and hardware added to install the roof rack will cause stagnant water. This eventually lead to premature rust.

I think a better way to seal unused holes would be to get an allen head bolt, nut and washers. Then put a little bit of sealant around the hole, place your washer and bolt and tighten it down, then wipe any excess that squeezes out after tightening. Would look a lot cleaner, cus personally to me, that much sealant looks like dog shit.

This looks like what you're saying makes total sense and can't believe the makers of this video haven't responded since they're the makers of the roof rack. I'm kind of hesitant to buying the roof rack now. Looks like a good roof rack but this is the people that are putting together the videos. Then you now makes me question that quality of the roof rack

Yes it works on all Subaru or most car with factory roof rails.
