I purchased this recently and I can tell you it’s a massive waste of money. They’re deliberately misleading you. The Accessport doesn’t support these parts. If you install them, you will throw the P0420 code and CEL. This means you’ll never pass emissions or be able to pass inspection and that’s even with a protune. No way around it. Needless to say I’m stuck with expensive parts that I can’t return or use. Why sell the Accessport or promote it with a package that it doesn’t support. This is an unethical business approach

Okays so your taking a comparing an engine who has 15+ years of R&D versus a new engine with 5+ years of R&D :p Give the FA 15+ years of R&D and then we talk which is better engine. I mean they recently released BRZ manifold kit for the WRX that allos for improved breathing and port injector option. In the meantime the trans in the STI is superior.

Awesome! Glad to hear you are going to be rocking our Stage 2, as for power between the exhausts you should see very similar numbers. Exhausts typically don't add too much HP so the difference would be very minimal if at all.

Please correct me if I am wrong. Thank you!

If you remove the intercooler on a stock sti you will 99% of the time find oil in there. Even on a stock unit as I have witnessed with mine. I have a new motor and my first oil change there was oil in there. A aos or catch can is cheap insurance, and a good investment in any turbo car. Blowby is more prevalent on boxer motors as well

update: cold weather months max out the stock fuel system at peak anywhere from 99% to 104% DC, I have sent in logs to MAP, and they gave the all clear. I am staying out of high boost till I upgrade my fuel system to be safe until the spring.

MAPerformance so your stage 2 tune is different from the stage 2 ots tune from Cobb? And can I buy the stage 2 tune by itself?
@maperformance

Our Stage 2 tune is unique to our parts so you will need both to run our tune. Yes, the tune is available by itself in case you already own the intake etc. Feel free to give us a call or email! Ian is ext 111 or ipeterson@maperformance.com

I keep reading and hearing that with my 2018 STI Limited that with a AP, downpipe and intake you MUST upgrade your fuel system or you risk running too lean and detonating the engine. True?
