Some great pickups Jonas. All the Deviant lps are worth picking up but they all stay in the same lane...punky garage. 3rd lp on Transatlantic is arguably their best...check out Billy The Monster 😎. Also worth seeking out Mick Farren's debut on Transatlantic. The Loading Zone is a misleading cover for sure. Can I Dedicate is the track to keep it for (also been sampled in hip hop) but I don't mind keeping one or two tracker lps. The lead singer Linda Tillery did an ok solo lp in 77. Love that Poppy Family lp, some killer tracks. I'd like the alternative sleeve cover as well, its all about that catsuit 😉. Saint Steven is a gem although I disagree it sounds anything like Ten Years After, as someone has commented elsewhere.... strange comparison 🤔. Anyway, too many other great buys to comment on them all. Cheers Nige

Thanks for watching and taking your time to comment Nige. As you know it's very appreciated!! I def need to check out more Deviants even if I dont think that genre really is my bad 100%. The garage punk 60s is something I struggle with but I need to dive into it more to earn the right to neglect it =) I free n the cat suit. The hunt continues!!

Jonas, great video as always. Le Orme, what can I say. All three: Collage, Uomo di Pezza and Felona e Sorona are great records from them.

Keef Hartley played drums in John Mayall's Bluesbreakers 1967/68 before forming his own band. Halfbreed is their first album, and arguably the best, but check out the follow- up Battle Of NW6, and The Time Is Near. All great jazz tinged blues.

Great video Jonas! I used to have that Loading Zone but I found it kinda boring save for a song or two. It didn’t stay in my collection too long. I actually really like that Groundhogs record quite a bit and would give it a higher rating than 2.5 ⭐️ For me it’s about a 3.5 ⭐️

I need to revisit the Groundhogs later down the road I think. It’s not bad at all. It just dident do anything for me. But I need to play it more! The loading zone will probably end up in the top sell pile. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I am a big fan of Warren Zevon and think his first called Zevon is also good. Bought as a cutout .Have you heard about Scalpers, its not a punkgroup ........(People who sell tickets for more money)

Hi Hasse! Zevon has been on constant rotation. The first record he released was in 69 or something g like that? It’s a little trickier to get.

So many great records Jonas! The Flame is a killer album! And fun fact is that the drummer Rikki Fataar is Stig O'Hara in The Rutles movie. Also awesome to see Shape of the Rain. And of course Gandalf the Grey, he actually recorded the entire album in his apartment in New York on a 2 track tape machine, so very lofi :)

Thanks Jonas. I would love to have a first press of Gandalf. Feels like that is one of my true top want. It’s everything that I love all combined in one record. 😀

Agree 100% on Warren Zevon. Excitable Boy is pretty much the only record of his i can get, for exactly the reason you gave. The sound and production of the 80s makes me pretty much ignore the whole decade. I primarily buy records in the 67-73 span...and if Zevon had started his career in say 1970 i suspect he would be more of a household name...IMO...Love Keef Hartley band, have all their records....

I’m just about to put his third record on as we speak. I have heard it on Spotify and it has some sweet song. It’s going to be fun to see if it sound as good as the first two!

@@SublimMedia Quite a few of his 80s songs are good but for me production ruins it. Keef Hartley band made 6 records in 3 years ;-)... agree on the groundhogs record you had in the vid, but some of their earlier records is A+ (split, thank christ...)
