Not really floater, but rather wildlife related: I was standing on a rock during the rescue ship cutscene and as it ended I drifted into the sky and got a tour of the island. At first I thought it was a scripted part of the scene but then I looked down and realized that I was standing on a skyray that must have picked me up at the rock. The timing was amazing, I certainly couldn't recreate it if I tried.

@@AzazelTV18 if there truly wasn't collision in the normally inaccessible areas, and the player managed to miss the rooms, there's a couple things that could happen: 1. The player would fall to infinity 2. The player would fall to the deepest explorable depth if the devs implemented a way to limit how deep a player can go. 3. There's actually terrain underneath the Aurora that still has collision, so you'd just be stuck at ground level.

One of the fastest way to travel use to involve using the gravity rifle to hold those human eating crab and stand on it, while a floater is attached on the bottom of the crab. This way you will be able to surf on a flying crab in the sky. Surfing a flying seamoth works, too.

Another way is to stand on a stasis rifle and use the propulsion cannon on the rifle, making it float around and you can control it.

You can slo do this with the Prawn Suit’s Propulsion cannon arm and a small storage crate. Just hold it, jump, and look down. You’ll stand on it and when you walk it will stay under you. So you can basically fly underwater with the prawn suit. It does take a lot of power though.

if you mean flying through the air, a bug, you are able to scan the floaters and get a description of what they do, but they basically make what ever there lacked to float the surface, and if you check under the floating island you'll get a big surprise
