It IS a fun game. Just a bit of advice - keep your inner loot goblin and distracted squirrel in check, or you won't last long. Physics may be reduced, but I think you've discovered it's not eliminated. As you've noticed, you can't stop on a dime, and stuff you drop has a timer on it before despawning. (I think just 5 min) I think you'll have fun discovering the game.

Probably Capp at the start. Ooh... What's this button do? Also, Capp. The biggest danger is hurting yourself. Something about rapid deceleration injuries stemming from floating particles and such comes to mind. This game seems really entertaining. Of course, I'm also playing a similar themed game, "Space Engineers," at the time. I do enjoy the genre and fully expect more awesome videos of this game from you in the near future.

Look for the small symbol on the lower right of the screen to show what you can scan that you are looking at. (very subnautica-like) You did want to scan the corridor and the large rooms at that first dome.

It's hilarious because while I was watching the trailer for this game, about halfway through, it shows a clip of the player placing a base-building room. My first thought was "oh cool, this sort of looks like Subnautica". Then I read the name of the game again like an idiot and was like "Oh."

Kinda seems like a cheap-ass copy / reskin of Subnautica with a crapper foreground view (but better backgrounds)? Right down to the tools used, but Subnautica is one of my fave games of all time so I may be a little biased?!! Still, as long as it adds something to differentiate itself, could be cool..... It’s crazy how these game makers spend a ton of money and years to develop these games and after all that, it’s success really depends on that first week of content creator videos. The survival/crafting genre is getting pretty watered down and if it doesn’t look nearly as fun as 7days or if it’s weighted down with too much tedious action like subsistence then I stop paying attention
