okay when y'all started talking about why girls hate it when guys give them advice about their problems, i was like omg i know this one!! i'm sure this doesn't go for everyone, but personally, when i'm talking about my problems, i just want my feelings to be heard and validated. sometimes i do want advice, in which case i'll ask for it. but most of the time, i just want to tell the person what's going on and have them agree with me/back me up. at least that's my perspective

We have tax included in all our prices in Australia it’s against the law not to. But in relation to tipping at dinner what you are paying is not tax money it’s just custom in the USA, and extremely normalised/expected. Whereas in Australia tipping isn’t really normal at all and even 50c is not expected. On top of that, some restaurants that allow tips to be accepted, don’t let the staff keep them personally, they must give them to their boss.
