Subwoofer Vs Woofer - Find the Difference?

A woofer is a driver designed to go with a tweeter or a midrange and tweeter while a subwoofer is designed to produce sub bass frequencies.

From what I understand subs handle the low frequency regular woofers can’t handle but also subs don’t do well once past a certain point. Having both types covers all ranges of frequencies when it comes to overall performance. Coaxial speakers are more mid/high range. “Lower mid range” is often forgotten in most people’s builds. I have 2 10 inch skar woofers running @120 rms plus a 12 inch boss sub @ 300 rms for a complete soundstage

my woofers go down to 35hz (25hz is where it stops shaking the house) would that be considered a subwoofer?

woofers do mids and low frequency subwoofers only low frequency i think
