Sarah Snook is incredible at playing this emotion that everybody has felt irl, but is rarely seen in movies -- 'I did a dumb thing and I should be ashamed, but I'm too proud so I'm doubling down'. Absolutely phenomenal stuff.

I always wondered if she had a highly narsissistic person in her life that got her to mimik those behaviors so incredibly well throughout the show. Her selfish pride always slipping into a hurt victimhood lashing out whenever she feels vulnerabel feels so scarily real with her performance.

Little fun trivia: The Dem candidate, Jimenez, is played by the same actor that plays Vera the psycho drug dealer who killed Shayla on Mr. Robot. It's kinda crazy. He barely looks like the same person.

One would think that just saying stuff out of nothing, without data or source, would in fact discredit a news network, if the primary goal were the news. The more loud, vicious, relentless, unapologetically confident you are just saying stuff that some people want to hear, the more credit you get from this people for being "brave" and "saying it like it is", and "not politically correct" and so on. It really tried and tested at this point, pretty simple concept.

Watching that 2 days after the election. Maybe that was less stressful than people watching it when it aired with the election still ahead? Either way, it’s always an intense watch, superbly written and acted. Plus I love some of the visuals - Ken frozen on those stairs and Roman marching past up them, as he becomes the brother on top, in the winning team that night and Greg’s little shrug to Shuv is perfect. Ken has always kept Greg sweet, but shiv thought threatening him was enough. If she’d offered him something, he might not have talked, although he’s smart enough to work out Ken is likely the better choice for his own ends.
@ElleDursten19 сағат бұрын
Shivs arrogance always bites her back. She always dismissed Greg, but Ken and Tom always kept him close. They know loyalty its something Logan always rewarded but Shiv never learned that lesson. She betrays everyone.
@the_crypter19 сағат бұрын
@@ElleDursten Are we watching the same show lmao ? Didn't they betray her first ? Hell, isn't betrayal what everyone does in this show ?
@ElleDursten18 сағат бұрын
@ I am not saying the kids are loyal. They are not loyal to anyone nor each other but Ken and Tom know that rewarding loyalty from others it’s necessary. Just like Logan did. Even if he tossed the person after they are not useful anymore. Shiv cannot even do that. She just dismissed everyone without thinking about how they could be useful to her. Proving once again that she has no game at all.
@LaCheeserie17 сағат бұрын
@@ElleDurstendismissed everyone? Ok just making things up. All of the kids fumble it. Tom bumbles his way up. People talk of him like he is so competent. The show has him talk of a lot of ish, but no real evidence of competence. A beggar in a nice suit, willing to be anyone’s puppet
