(CC) Plant Profile: Sinningia leuchotricha - Sinningia leuchotricha 'Brazilian Edelweiss' is an adorable caudiciform plant native to southern Brazil, growing as a lithophyte on rocks and cliffs.
Care: Bright indirect light, temperatures not exceeding 95F/35C or will struggle. Cold hardy to 41F/5C if kept dry.
Water during growing periods when growth is active. Soil should be low organic, fast draining, and drying out within 5-7 days. Allow soil to dry before watering again. I water about every 10 days or so but will reduce water to once a month or less if and when the plant starts to enter dormancy.
