Holy cow! This morning I was watching your video on MUTE because there were others in the room and I didnt want to disturb them. At 1:57 when you showed the carrots, I thought it was shredded cheese! When you dumped it in the boiling water I couldn't believe it! "Wow, Catherine has finally lost it!" My husband looked over my shoulder and patted me on the back. "Carrots?" he said. Oh, carrots. If you knew how bad both are you would which too the (Chosen Brand) avocado 100% pure mayonnaise. That is the only thing I use now, to sweeten it like miracle whip I put in a little Monk Fruit. 😊 Check your precooked bacon pieces to see what they use to preserve it with. I do like the easy recipes 😊

I've done this myself except I skip the carrots and mix in frozen peas instead of cooking them, after the pasta is cooked and cooled. I use trader joes ranch seasoning in a bottle and use avocado mayo. I also use uncured bacon bits.

Oh my goodness! I just made a box of this and told myself it is good but the veggies are hard. I told myself I can make this using ranch seasoning that I have. ( The type you buy as a seasonal not in the package) also I would use frozen peas and carrots not shredded as those are too thin. I hate miracle whip too sweet! So funny how you posted this just a day after I bought the stuff to make this. You were reading my mind! lol! Love your family and videos!

This looks so good Catherine!😍 I grew up eating macaroni salad so this gives me a touch of nastalgia!😘😮😊 The boxed salad mix doesn't really stand alone and I would always add other ingredients to make it taste decent.😋 And making it myself would ensure that I knew what was in it!☺️ Your timing is perfect as always since a cold salad would be more refreshing in this cruel Texas heat!🥵 This is really the time that we just want to reach into the fridge and pull out a nice cold salad!😚 Thanks for sharing another great recipe!🥰
