Quick question. How do you travel to races? Flight, I assume? Do you and your team fly together, or how does that work?
@waltersbg9 ай бұрын
I see in a reply to one of the comments that you answered the burning question of what happened in race 2 and how you were even able to come out for race 3 -- fuel pump. That clears that up. But was the fuel pump the reason for your earlier struggles with straight line speed compared to the other cars in your class? In race 3 you mention the frustration of being slower on the straights than a higher-class car, which is to be expected, but I'm not clear on whether the new fuel pump helped address your deficit in straight line speed compared to cars in your class. Will Radical look at what's wrong or is it completely up to your team to figure it out?

Hey now, don't get bummed over a podium. A win is a win, you fought hard with everyone on track and got the best out of the car even if it wasn't acting right. And even if you got discouraged, you brought it home just the same way you put it on the grid, which is great for a first round of any championship. Holding your own and keeping up pace is what you need to do to lead a race, you're having technical issues with the car so that can't be helped. But you got there in the end, you showed sportsmanship and p1 didn't. Enjoy that trophy not because of the race but what took to get here! Good luck and merry laps to you!

It was interesting seeing the races unfold, and seeing the emotions and thoughts that go through a drivers mind as the races progress. Suellio, you already know what's needed to acquire pace (I'm a customer). You already have demonstrated the nerve it takes. I would say you were only lacking the experience, except for the fact that you already act like a pro, given how rapidly you adapt, and how well you communicate with the team. Your attitude is exceptional as well. You should be very proud.

I've been watching you for a little while now , and I can confidently say that you my man are extremely talented behind the wheel. I've been racing for many many years, and it has been a LONG time since I've come across a young driver with such talent behind the wheel. Many young drivers get discouraged after set backs like engine failures etc, and they show it on the track. You however, your a different breed. Keep up the hard work , it most certainly is paying dividends! Great Job on race day, I believe your a hero to all Sim racers out there who want to become real drivers. Never give up, keep pushing.

Bro, you got this! You see his aggressive style, you need to drive that way. Stop driving like your sin racing friends and drive like you are wanting that W. Throw blocks squeeze, whatever you can do without penalty. Get that friendly Sim racing mindset out of your head. That's real life racing, get your elbows out and fight. I know he has straight line speed, but you have cornering. Use that to your strength! When you are running ahead on the straight and he's catching into a corner, squeeze him or block enough to keep your cornering advantage. I know you have the ability to win, even with the disadvantage. Good luck and can't wait to see more👍

This is pretty incredible to watch! Because your car was "nerfed" made it very exciting to see how you delt with the pressure from the red car always cathing up. Everytime there's dustsmoke or someone getting off track and trying to get back is frightening to watch. Also it looks like there is a lot of force upon the steering wheel when cornering and there's bumps and such. Makes you wonder how that feels compared to sim, like how many Newton Meters that feels like? Great driving and video. Looking forward to the next one!

Hi Suellio, first of all congrats on the races even if they didn't go as planned, even being there is an achievement! Second, now that you've experienced racing in sim and real life, you probably needed to develop some tactics to cope with the psychological side. At the moment I'm really struggling, I can do an okay pace on my own but once there are other racers around me, I can't get the same performance. I'm nervous, I feel warm, I sweat, I don't quite have the confidence and as a result simply drive worse than I do on my own. I'm usually pretty good in qualy but then stumble down the order in the first third of a race. Later once things have settled a bit and I can get into a rhythm, I usually find my pace again but by that point I'm down quite a bit.
