Quick question. How do you travel to races? Flight, I assume? Do you and your team fly together, or how does that work?
@waltersbg
@waltersbg 6 ай бұрын
I see in a reply to one of the comments that you answered the burning question of what happened in race 2 and how you were even able to come out for race 3 -- fuel pump. That clears that up. But was the fuel pump the reason for your earlier struggles with straight line speed compared to the other cars in your class? In race 3 you mention the frustration of being slower on the straights than a higher-class car, which is to be expected, but I'm not clear on whether the new fuel pump helped address your deficit in straight line speed compared to cars in your class. Will Radical look at what's wrong or is it completely up to your team to figure it out?

Hey now, don't get bummed over a podium. A win is a win, you fought hard with everyone on track and got the best out of the car even if it wasn't acting right. And even if you got discouraged, you brought it home just the same way you put it on the grid, which is great for a first round of any championship. Holding your own and keeping up pace is what you need to do to lead a race, you're having technical issues with the car so that can't be helped. But you got there in the end, you showed sportsmanship and p1 didn't. Enjoy that trophy not because of the race but what took to get here! Good luck and merry laps to you!

It was interesting seeing the races unfold, and seeing the emotions and thoughts that go through a drivers mind as the races progress. Suellio, you already know what's needed to acquire pace (I'm a customer). You already have demonstrated the nerve it takes. I would say you were only lacking the experience, except for the fact that you already act like a pro, given how rapidly you adapt, and how well you communicate with the team. Your attitude is exceptional as well. You should be very proud.

Damn this is beautiful, to me you have no talent, i don't believe in talent, no, but see a passion and freaking hard work coming together so well as with you, that's impressive and pretty inspiring. Yeah there is people more intelligent than others, more fast learning than others that we can simplify by IQ level, but at the end of the day, it's who is the most passionate by his objective and how much work he put into it. I'm 28 yrs old, loosed 10 years of my life partying, drugs, girls until my 24 where i completly stopped this bullshit. You are young, all the life in front of you, doing the best decisions you can, so GG to you. I recognize that hard dedication you have. And i'm sure you are happy inside you which is the most important. You worked hard to practice what you love. Good luck for the future !

I was wondering the same thing, because that driver came up off the normal racing line, like he didn't know that a) he would still need to slow down, b) he would have to slow down even more because he was not going outside in, and c) it was the race start so his tires were cold. Good thing the guy didn't take Suellio or anybody else out.

Common man, this is amazing! Super excited to see when you get the engine fixed, the battles are going to be huge! I would be down to become a member and have access to more content with full races on it! To support you, and to be able to actually watch! On other thing, I don't if it's possible or not, but I miss the HUD :/ Brake, Throttle, maybe cars ahead of you and who they are and the one behind. I don't really know if it's possible or not, but it would be great. Props to the editor, this is great! Keep the good work! #Brasilllll

I would have loved to see a bit more between race 2 and 3 about why the car failed, but the format was really good. I'm fairly new to you and your content, but you are really inspiring, and I look forward to seeing your racing season unfold. I do have one question, in the beginning, you said something about if this racing season doesn't go well, you could be done for real racing. What's up with that? Not sure I quite understand the risk of having a poor year in this series. Sure, I understand formula one, but it's your own car? Is the team you're racing for looking to put someone else in if you don't perform?

This might not be your issue.. but I noticed your head seems to be a bit higher than some of the others. Not only will your head make more drag but the wake can affect your rear wing efficiency (drag) as well. You might also try putting the rear spoiler on your helmet and i hate to say it, consider moving the cameral from your forehead. These could easily be a few kph on a low powered car so could be worth experimenting with. To my eye it seemed like you had a high speed drag issue, vs power to weight

I feel like you went through nearly all of the race mindsets, DNF, small mistake, a "weird podium" (You definitely deserve it) but yeah. It's just gonna make you stronger. Looking forward to the next race! Give it everything, such a strong start, we're all behind you Suellio!

This is pretty incredible to watch! Because your car was "nerfed" made it very exciting to see how you delt with the pressure from the red car always cathing up. Everytime there's dustsmoke or someone getting off track and trying to get back is frightening to watch. Also it looks like there is a lot of force upon the steering wheel when cornering and there's bumps and such. Makes you wonder how that feels compared to sim, like how many Newton Meters that feels like? Great driving and video. Looking forward to the next one!

Hi Suellio, first of all congrats on the races even if they didn't go as planned, even being there is an achievement! Second, now that you've experienced racing in sim and real life, you probably needed to develop some tactics to cope with the psychological side. At the moment I'm really struggling, I can do an okay pace on my own but once there are other racers around me, I can't get the same performance. I'm nervous, I feel warm, I sweat, I don't quite have the confidence and as a result simply drive worse than I do on my own. I'm usually pretty good in qualy but then stumble down the order in the first third of a race. Later once things have settled a bit and I can get into a rhythm, I usually find my pace again but by that point I'm down quite a bit.

I've been watching you for a little while now , and I can confidently say that you my man are extremely talented behind the wheel. I've been racing for many many years, and it has been a LONG time since I've come across a young driver with such talent behind the wheel. Many young drivers get discouraged after set backs like engine failures etc, and they show it on the track. You however, your a different breed. Keep up the hard work , it most certainly is paying dividends! Great Job on race day, I believe your a hero to all Sim racers out there who want to become real drivers. Never give up, keep pushing.
