The show at MSG is phenomenal, wish I would have been there. They are masters of their instruments, all six of them, no doubt. Thanks for this reaction. Anyways, if you are interested in getting to know how far Rammstein can go in their live shows, how naughty, weird, and bizarre they can be live, you might be ready for "Bück dich" (= bend over) live in Montreal 2012. They also played - performed, I should say - this song before in Worcester, Mass. in 1999. But after the show, Till and Flake got arrested by the police. Well ... of course ... what else ... America, what can I say ... But be prepared - not the best video quality, but visually a trip to a parallel universe 🙂

I don´t know, if you already have watched the official video of "Mein Herz brennt" PIANO version, to find another side of Till and Rammstein. It is a must see. There are so many other masterpieces. Maybe "Zeit" or "Angst" or "Sonne" live and so many more. Great reaction! Of course, as a musician, you have another point of view and that makes it so interesting. Watched them a few weeks ago in Nijmegen. Wow. Now they come to Canada / US / Mexico in these days.

Till was a Swimer in his youth and made it to the 1980 Moscow Olympis list. However, they dropped it from the list, as he left the Hotal on the European Campionship in Italy at night without permission. At the time Rammstein was formed he did work as a basket maker.

Till originally pierced a hole in his face to put the light in. It got infected, and leaked when he ate/drank. So he pierced the inside of his cheek to clip the light to so it doesn't affect his singing. I left you that Rammstein song in your Henk reaction...

A fun fact about this song: Till used to pierce his cheek to insert the light wire in his mouth. Afterwards, when not performing, he would drink some beer and show everyone willing (or unwilling) to watch how he could effortlessly pour beer out of his cheek. He stopped piercing his cheek only when a severe infection forced him to. Two fun facts about Till: he wrote and published three poetry books. In 2019 he created and marketed his own (limited edition) vodka, called "Doctor Dick".

Lol, the verbiage you will pick up listening to Rammstein all day may just get you interview mit Bundespolizei "if all you spoke was Rammstein" For example you decide to go mit Weißes Fleisch lyrics on your next trip und ask a kindly older Fräulein where ist der park but knowing only Deutsch through Rammstein lyrics it comes out as "You, on the school yard, me, ready to kill und no one here ist aware of my loneliness red marks on white skin; I hurt you" So maybe a small dilemma there. But luckily Germans have the greatest sense of humor on planet (cough, bullshit) so you be fine. On other hand though a few of there songs actually have very poignant lyrics mit deep meaning. Herr Wolfman will most certainly agree Dicke Titten falls in that category (try using that when looking for fun place to go). But in seriousness Ohne Dich (without you) ist sehr beautiful. For fun video Klein Lust (No desire) ist a hoot. Many gut Rammstein songs to go as ist Nightwish if you do songs you have done before from other Venues, definently worth it (cough, entire Tampere cough, concert, cough) sorry got pup dander in throat.
