We look most like Jesus Christ when wearing a crown of thorns. I noticed that the difficulties I personally went through (Heroin addiction, alcoholism, divorce, loss of career, homelessness, fights, stabbed and robbed at gunpoints, jail, anger, depression and stress to the point of heart failure, losing my friends and loved ones suddenly (especially my dad of a heart attack), attempts at suicide etc etc) were all part of God's sustaining and strengthening process which gave me experiences to better relate to those going through similar situations. As long as we live in this sinful world we'll all go through physical pain, emotional pain, financial difficulties, broken and shattered relationships and even ruin but that doesn't mean that we don't belong to God but quite the opposite. Therefore cling to the cross and hold tight to Christ because what is to come will be amazing beyond expression.

Pastor Begg, you have been a faithful servant of Christ long before I came to accept Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and you played a big part in my growing in faith and knowledge of our Lord. There have been many stumbling stones (and still are) along the path but your way of teaching the truth as it is written stand the test of time and you remain solid where others fail. Your way of relaying biblical truth is what got me to turn away from drug addiction and sexual immorality and repent for the sinful lifestyle I was living. I bow my knee to the One and only God and Lord Jesus Christ.

We must have complete trust in our Heavenly Father. Even as we struggle in life. As I constantly struggle to provide for my two autistic children I keep faith. Faith is all I have. It is truly the only armor against the enemy. As a single mom things are hard on me. My health is not the best I suffered a heart attack two years ago and I’m battling lupus. Every month is a struggle to get by. But as I struggle to pay rent and as I struggle to buy groceries for my children. I keep faith. God lifts me up everyday. Jesus please help me take care of my sons. I trust in you Lord Jesus. ❤

Immerse yourself in the bible. The gospel of John always helps me. Romans 8 and Hebrews also. If you give the enemy a foothold you will be led into darkness. John 16:33 New International Version 33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! Love means speaking the truth and rebuking your brother when he does not stand with God's truth. If Alistair starts suggesting to someone they should encourage a wedding that is against God's will by participating and also giving them gifts, then he should recant and apologize . Unfortunately he clearly said he doesn't want to do this and I still hope he will repeny, or else God will rebuke him. I used to listen his sermons weekly, but I am afraid I can't stand with his prideful attitude this time.

Alistair, you might want to get a hold of this controversy your in on youtube. Lots of youtube want to be Pastors are pounding you on saying that your comment about a grand mother being allowed to go to her grandsons gay wedding. We need to make sure there are no dark places on this earth that the light of Christ can not shine. They are arguing that Christians should not go into places of sin as that constitutes acceptance of that sin.

Is just "raised on the third day? " Or is it all of the above ? Three days, three, nights, raised on the third day, after three days? He died on Friday and was raised on the 3rd day. Not sure why you're having such trouble with this. Luke 24:45-47 English Standard Version 45 Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, 46 and said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, 47 and that repentance for[a] the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. Hard to fit your narrative without His being raised on the 4th day.??? Peace
