Nobody talked about those WTS drums yet those things are remarkable the way you tune them it's so freaking easy to change the heads on them I've been to their website their drums are built very well and that tuning system is remarkable it's going to redefine drumming the tension lug will be faded out this tuning systems incredible and it's so easy to put together when you get it out of the box but once you have it set up and you want to replace the heads on the drums it's even easier to tune the heads and replace them than ever before and to tune a drum it's done in seconds with that wire when you use the turnkey and you wind up that wire and and the drums are tuned in seconds. Those drums are going to flip NAMM on its head... I mean it's pretty legitimate when you got a new set of drums out with an incredible new tuning system and then on top of that they've got Sugarfoot playing on one of their drumset now that's good advertising this company will find its niche in the drumming community

Sugarfoot never makes a face it's always the same look he always dresses like a professional I think that was from being on tour w Michael so long I mean Michael probably expected a lot from his musicians expected them to be professional and world-class. I'm sure Sugarfoot was well compensated just like every other musician for MJ.

So both heads necessarely are tuned the same. Max reso. Can you tune them seperate pitch ?
@WelchTuningSystemsInc11 ай бұрын
Both heads are tensioned the same but the pitch depends on the mass of the drumhead. For example, if you want your reso to be higher than your batter, simply use a thinner reso / thicker batter.

If one is a "grove man", as you put it, the solo ability is there, and shows up at the right time. I know....I did it for years, and my guys knew that at some point....when the time was right, the solo in me was gonna rise up & kick ass. First though.....one has to keep the groove, as drummers are supposed to.

@WelchTuningSystemsInc Жыл бұрын
@NTFX_org It's possible to throw it out of tune (if you choose) by pinching the cable several times on one side and/or applying pressure to the head similar to the process for seating it. Even still, once you experience the quality of tone and capability of tuning, you realize how applicable it really is in addition to being significantly more efficient.

Who is that person,who stoped Johnathan Moffet? He is seek? I've never understood such persons, who is complaining about playing music or any instruments! I had same problems when I had my drums in villa on Cyprus, when we were living there! But when our neihbors called to police, while I was playing drums and they came to us - they just sad, that they have no rights to do nothing with me, because I'm playing in the day and do not breaking the law! So, had no problems, but my mood was always spoiled.😎 So, I do not like such people, who is complaining about it!

But he toured with MJ? Doesn’t that mean he’s great. Actually no, it doesn’t. It’s funny people can’t distinguish this from great drumming.
@dysfunctionaldave Жыл бұрын
@@magnumpiercedrumming4744 What's more funny is average/beginner drummers exposing their lack of knowledge, thinking guys like this aren't great. There's a reason guys like him are the ones that get the big gigs, and it's because they're straight up human metronomes, and their groove is 100% locked in. A great drummer is far more than the amount of notes you can fit in a bar, or how many polyrhythms you can hold in your head. I get it, because I've been through that phase as has basically every musician ever, but hopefully you get past that and recognize the power of simplicity and how just because something is technically 'easy', a lifetime of skill makes it sound like something no one else could play. I've played drums for well over 20 years and I couldn't play a song like 'Beat It' anything like Sugarfoot. Those subtle differences are what makes a master drummer. If you don't get to that stage you'll never progress past being a very amateur drummer. This isn't his element, he's just jamming out on a kit with no band. His magic comes from supporting a band and making them sound great, and doing that on every single gig he ever plays on with no flaws.
