this sugarveil is it only for decorating cakes can cakes be covered with it like fondant?

It works great in conjunction with fondant, buttercream, any icing/frosting with fat in it as it nicely adheres to the icing on its own. It is not a substitute for fondant, but is a perfect complement to it.
