From the disregard of the lore - the green lantern scene - to the character writing - why does arkham harley act all righteous to arkham batman when this version of harley is one of her most evil - the HEAVY for modern audience, the list just goes one What even more insane? There are a lot of other disregards of the green lantern lore in the cannon comics themselves.If you think that King Shark(who's probably one of the most honorable and moraly good characters in the Arkham universe) getting the lantern ring is weird,let me tell you about the actual cannon examples of Doomsday, Cyborg Superman and Mongul(Mongul II actually, who's like the the son of the first Mongul).All of those people who are vile villains/monsters,got a green lantern ring to use, essentially breaking the lore.But your angry because the Arkhamverse(who's it's own adaptation of the comics,who most of the time deviates from the comics lore) did something you consider to be breaking the lore? Really? Why does Arkham Harley acts righteous towards Arkham Batman?Maybe because now their positions are reversed(Bruce's the murderous villain while Harley's the heroine in this situation),maybe because Harley doesn't see herself as evil anymore(She had 5 years to get herself better and since she had been recruited into the Squad,she really hasn't done anything villainous or evil either), while Batman fell from grace.Or she knows that the Batman she will kill either is not the real one or that there's no actual Bruce left in there that will hear her,so she's basically insulting a hollow shell that she'll kill immediately.

Also no harley is still weird as hell in this game, even if we buy the five year time skip we don't see any of her development from the literal second coming of joker to the funny anti hero that I want in my bed.

@@tldr365 1.its only 13 Brainiacs. 2.Two Brainiacs, possibly 3 are gonna get killed by Deathstroke. 3.The Squad was choose by Waller because they are the best at not dying,so yeah.Hell,she put them in some twisted battle Royale with most villains in Arkham and some of her people,so she could choose the best. 4.Technically,Wonder Woman was already the causality,since they were technically allied,by having the same goal of defeating Brainiac and saving Earth.While Diana would be an unofficial member,she and Earth 1 Lex were the casualties.

I personally enjoyed it just because of the squad but my biggest complains would be the way the league died the fact that this is in the Arkhaverse and not it’s own universe the story, for me it was fun but after killing flash it got boring The fact that not a single member of the team died And the lack of members, they should have had a big rooster of characters like peacemaker, killer frost, vertigo, bronze tiger, black manta, deadshot, Harley, etc and when the game starts you and the other players pick your characters but if you die you have to play as another character for the rest of the mission And yes it should have been free to play

30:46 The reason they had Harley disinterested in the Joker is because they're going in on the Harley/Ivy pairing, as shown in the game itself when they had that really ill-advised cutscene where Harley flirts with the child Ivy. This is also likely the reason why they revived Ivy in the first place.

That was more that batman revealing his identity was the death of Bruce Wayne he could not have a normal life with all knowing he was batman meaning he was just batman that is what they tell you in the end of Arkham night that Bruce Wayne died not batman that is why we see the nightmare batman at the end

Clownpuncher was the only other one KZbinr I've seen who enjoyed the writing, though he was upfront in saying he enjoys lowbrow humor and understands why other's don't. He also enjoyed the game in a "so bad it's good" sense. As he put it "it's a dumpster fire, but I'll be roasting marshmallows over it until the game shuts down".

I find it interesting how every reviewer I've seen has a different favorite character. Some liked King Shark because his jump was straightforward and he packed a minigun. Other's liked the mobility of Deadshot's jetpack. You enjoyed the distance you get with Captain Boomerang. It's clear they got something right with the movement and making every character feel different. Which makes it that much more of a shame that the game has so little mission variety. It wouldn't save the game or solve every issue, but I could see how it would help lessen the repetitiveness.

The game was good visuals good too and the movement that’s unique to each character but bad thing missions where repetitive asf u had like 5 separate missions😭 and the enemies where kinda same they had different abilities but like should’ve added new missions and maybe unique factions who worked for brainiac i wish they didn’t give up on this game only a Skelton crew is launching updates and that’s it i wish this game had the cyberpunk treatment where they updated the game constantly too the point where the game was what the company intended it to be

For me it is a lot of what you mentioned. Also Batman’s suit was absolutely epic the way it just towers over all of the squad is amazing. I played as DeadShot because of the jetpack.

Why does Harley demean Batman who at that point in the game had killed probably half the amount of people Harley had killed? Some of them in the game(like those 2 humans he killed in the Batman museum and possibly Tim) and most of them by giving them to Brainiac to be remade into Brainiac troops. Why does Deadshot calls Batman a bad hero? Because Batman kinda is a bad hero, with how many people either die on his watch or are tortured on his watch.

What the Arkham versions of Harley and Ivy have is not love,more like Friendship.Sure, you could interpret it as romantic love,but it still doesn't change that it's a close friendship. And yes,she did team up with Scarecrow,but that is before Ivy's kidnapping and death.And besides her being on the plan of creating chaos, like the rest of the villains, she doesn't provide him(Scarecrow) much help.

Why do Squad members need guns? Long range attacks,they don't need to get close and probably get ambushed.That thing about King Shark's theeth is something only comics King Shark ever did,not the Arkham one.Captain Boomerang had trick boomerangs that he still uses them in his moveset,but are also used in combination with the Speedforce gauntlet for his traversal.

Honestly, I feel bad for the people who worked for years to make this game only to have it be one of the biggest flops in gaming recently. It sucks that people are also harassing people who worked on it even though they weren’t the ones writing, directing, or making any major decisions for how the game ended up turning out. Not many people talked about employees/people developing the game coming out about how bad it was just trying to develop this game and how the heads of rocksteady pretty much doomed this game and left to make another company. I also blame execs at WB for forcing rocksteady to make a game they had no previous experience making. I also hate that this game spawned a community of people who will attack anything that has a hint of progressive themes. The entertainment industry is pretty much dying. Consumers, artists, and companies aren’t seeing eye to eye. Products aren’t for general audiences, but for specific groups that make up less than 10% of audiences or they’re too cookie cutter that there’s no reason to pay money and spend time on something that’s extremely common.
