You guys stumbled on the best kept breakfast secret… those huevos rancheros and arepas are our favorite breakfast. No one seems to know about them because they go to the standard breakfast burrito. People always stop me and ask me where I got my breakfast. It’s great with the thick red salsa and some slices of watermelon.

Can I just say how much I love your dry humor and sarcasm? I somehow got hooked on this channel trying to look up my sisters cruise ship she went on in March....and now I'm a paid member to a cruise vlog, have the hoodie and I don't cruise lol. I just got off the Mardi Gras last week and also felt the same way about the crowd levels. I think a lot has to do with the use of a lot of narrow corridors that tends to feel like it funnels the crowds. Unlike on Oasis I felt like there are more "open" areas so it definitely didn't feel nearly as crowded with the same amount of guests. Just my opinion of course. Still thoroughly enjoyed my time on Mardi Gras.

The "eau de mildew" is from the drain - so it goes away once water starts going down the drain. I always pour about 2 cups of water down the bathroom drain on the first day on every cruise I go on to make sure that doesn't happen.

On boarding day, my bathroom stunk like sewage dump. Once we set sailed, the smell never returned. I’m wondering if on boarding day one, the ship is doing some sort of sewage draining or processing. Eww 😷 but anyhow just wanted to share that. I think certain rooms get that stink and some rooms don’t. Perhaps the room vent I was in connected to the sewer system. 🤷‍♀️

The Oasis (RC) class is almost 30% larger than the Excel (Carnival) class yet they accommodate the same maximum passengers. That is why Carnival ships are so loud and congested and long waits at most times for too many things (like a simple burger).

We agree with you, Guys Burger is way over rated. They are dry and really nothing special. We have 5 Guys up here and they are 1000% better. We did not even go to Guys Burger on our last Carnival cruise, we skipped it and went to Pig and Anchor.
