Goa(India) has a broad coastline and there's ample amount of dried fish production which takes place around these coastlines. mackerel is one particular fish which is easily available and has lot of demand in the market whether its fresh or dried. few months back i came across this simple and unique recipe which is made with dried mackerels locally its called "Sukya Bangdyache Amsol (Tangy Dried mackerel Curry)" and it really tastes delicious so definitely checkout this recipe and let me know your reviews.

Dried Mackerels - 6
Tamarind - 30 grms
Water - 4 cups
Onions (Sliced) - 3 nos
Green Chillies (Slited) - 2 nos
Ginger - garlic Paste - 1 Tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 Tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Tsp
Salt - 1/2 Tsp
Sugar - 1 Tsp
