Like I said before , by only looking at suleiman's eyes , you can get the whole story of magnificent century . That expression after sumbel informed him of the doomed news , it looked as if his world had fallen apart right there . His expressions during his final dinner with Ibrahim were also apt . Those cold eyes and the smile not reaching the eyes ; looked so fake full of anger , sadness , betrayal at the same time . In the tent during mustafa's death , those eyes looked as if devil had taken over them . Wow amazing .

Who would have thought that in few episodes I would fall in love with this woman and appreciate her more than Meryem. Vahide’s Hurrem is Royal, Intelligent, Graceful, Mature, Brave, Patient, Ruthless and Kind same time, to sum up-EVERYTHING what real historical Hurrem used to be.👑 I feel like… Meryem brilliantly played Hurrem, while Vahide IS real Hurrem, just like Halit IS real Suleiman! ❤️🔥

@@sakshisharma-xh9hj yeah, they didn’t show these: “Suleiman the Magnificent repeatedly came to Hurrem for counsel and appointed her as his state advisor in foreign and internal political affairs. Also, it’s recorded by history that she was official Divan member, attending meetings, voting, listening to males and taking part of the meetings “under the dome”, which is called the Kubbealtı. Only men were doing this before her. Hurrem also had a seal that allowed her to correspond to MALE rulers and kings around the world. Before that females of the empire were only allowed to correspond with female rulers (like empress or queen : Russia and England) or princesses. Hurrem was the first here as well. She has been using the title of Shah (queen) when she became the first "legitimate" wife in Ottoman history. It is seen that her signature is always referred to as " The State of İsmetlu Hürrem Shah Sultan Aliyyetü'ş-Şân". She acted as a diplomat with foreign powers through her letters and was beneficent in her good work and philanthropy, especially for the city of Istanbul. “ They had very loyal and strong, loving marriage and deep bond. In the series producers showed it only partly.

Why do these scenes hit so hard? Like, i am not even lying i have watched this series about 17 times and sometimes i just like to sit and watch these scenes, scenes of joy, anger, sadness, etc. But some scenes like this one hits so hard and makes me tear up every time. Also the music of Ibrahim's violin in anything sad is iconic. It is as if the background music tells a story of it's own. Never stopped loving this series, the acting, music, actors, clothes, plot twists they are so iconic and on point. Season 2 with Kosem sultan in it, (in my opinion) wasn't nearly as good as Season 1. Till this day this has been my comfort series, this has been that one series i can watch 100 times and never get bored, and surprisingly every time i notice something i did not notice before. All the emotion in Suleiman's eyes and all the affection of Hurrem towards the people she loves. All the poems they made for each other and the letters they sent each other during separation is truly MAGNIFICENT. Hurrem being his shadow and him ruling the world with her guidance, oh has the world ever seen such love? The emerald ring tells us about the love between the two most prominent figures in the history of the Ottoman Empire, Hurrem Sultana and Sultan Suleiman. The way Suleiman changed the course of history and married Hurrem, even though everyone was against it shows the love for her. The way Hurrem always loved and supported him was unimaginable. The way she prayed when he fell sick and close to death, while others planning for the future, the way she carried a small bottle of poison so she could go join Suleiman at any point if he left. In the series it should there were other women after her but in reality, he never was with another woman after Hurrem. The way they loved each other was crazy, the way they both couldn't live with each other. Everything about them and this series is impeccable. Cant wait to go back and watch the series again for the 18th time. If you watched it once watch it again. If you watched it twice watch it for the third time. Never have i ever watched such an amazing series.

They say it was Malaria or Flu that later became Pneumonia. She was ill more than 33 weeks.
@jeanneaubert41932 жыл бұрын
It’s mentioned in historical documents that Hurrem may have died from Malaria, Pneumonia and Gynecological issues she has been having for the past years. This is the saved info on her death: 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 “Venetian ambassador Antonio Barbarigo, who had arrived in Istanbul in September 1556 mentions that Hürrem Sultan’s health had been declining, although just when it became a serious matter is not clear. Her death in the spring of 1558 apparently stemmed from a combination of chronic illness and more immediate factors. When she went to Edirne in 1558 with Süleyman, she became ill and all efforts of doctors failed. Kutbeddin El-Mekkî, who was in Istanbul at that time, says that Hürrem Sultan suffered from malaria and shoulder pain for a while. On April 15, 1558, the new French ambassador to Istanbul, Jean de la Vigne, sent a letter to a colleague reporting that “La Assaqui” (the Haseki) had died early that morning. So great was the sultan’s grief that he aged greatly. “They say that the day before she died,” wrote de la Vigne, “he promised her and swore by the soul of his father Selim that he would never approach another woman.“ Mekkî wrote: “The sultan loved her to distraction and his heart has broken with her death.” “After the death of his wife, Suleiman took care of Hurrem’s memory and did not want his wife's body to stay away from him, just as he did not love another woman after her. He had a beautiful mausoleum built for her right next to the place he reserved for his own tomb in Süleymaniye Complex. He appointed guards and hafiz-i kurras at Hurrem Sultan's tomb . For centuries, the Quran was read to the soul of this benevolent sultan twenty- four hours a day. According to the documents in the Prime Ministry Archive, the number of people assigned to this tomb in turn was one hundred and thirty-eight people. Considering that they are paid a high wage of three hundred and fifty akçe per day , it is better understood how much Kanunî loved Hurrem. Sultan Süleyman also continued to give charity for her soul for years. For example , in 968 Hijri , he ordered the Egyptian Governorship to send 3,000 gold coins from the Egyptian treasury to the Ulema and poor of Mecca and Medina.” “It is said that Suleyman was so sad after death of his beloved, that he did not regain happiness for the rest of his life and pined away for his wife.”
