i have the set. ive ripped it and watched it (the discs on a ps5, so keep that in mind) and it looks amazing. More shows need this treatment. Nothing overblown just clear.

Thank you for watching and taking time to comment? Does playing on a PS5 hold any sort of significance? Clear is what we want. Folks complaining that the packaging isn’t something remarkable just baffle me. As if we weren’t already paying enough for it.

Transfers are incredible. Don’t be put off by episode 1 as those elements were lost. Keep your DVDs tho cause a lot of features are missing

Thank you for watching and taking time to comment. Thanks also for sharing that bit of detail. I hadn’t heard about episode 1 having specific issues.

Awesome! Hopefully yours arrives in great condition. By some accounts that’s not always happening. No one knows just how “limited” this release will end up being so good on you for acting quickly to secure one. I’m about 90% sure I’ll be keeping mine and in original cases at the point. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment!

I am planning on (and always was) going for the widescreen blu-ray set. I want it in widescreen, but I also own all the original individual DVD seasons 1-9 sets. My DVD's actually look quite good on my 4K screen and 4K player which seriously upscales the picture. (Just subscribed by the way).

What leads you in the direction of preferring the widescreen Blu-ray set, friend? My player/TV is really hit and miss in how DVDs get upscaled. I have a few movies on DVD that look terrible on it. I don’t think I’ve tried to watch my Seinfeld DVD set since I upgraded to a 4K set-up though. I should give it a try. Thank you for watching, taking the time to comment, and welcome to my little channel. I’m happy to have you as a subscriber!

No offense, dude, but it would be incredibly stupid to put those 4k discs into the DVD packaging. That "digibook" packaging is notorious for crushing discs, let alone scratching them when you take them out of the cardboard sleeves.

Thank you for watching and taking time to comment! I don’t disagree with you when it comes to 4K discs and no offense taken. I haven’t had any misfortunes with this kind of packaging when it comes to the more durable DVD and Blu-ray sets that use it. I don’t like it beyond its space-saving benefits though. So far I’m leaning toward keeping the set and leaving it intact as is. I appreciate you chiming in!

@@SumDumGy Cool, I hope the picture quality of the 4K transfer is as good as I've been hearing. I hate "digibooks" with cardboard sleeves because my Alfred Hitchcock Collection V1 and Back to the Future trilogy both arrived with discs crushed in those stupid cardboard sleeves. I simply don't trust them.

@@jamesphillips4599I’m hearing great things, as well. The review over on Blu-ray.com is stellar. I think I’m going to check out a few reviews here on KZbin, too. Yeah, I hear ya. Although I’ve never had any issues, I tend to remove just about everything from digibooks. My Back to the Future 4K trilogy went right into my beautiful steelbook. Just swapped the discs. More compact that way, too. I have all three of those Hitchcock sets. I wish they had gone a different route but I’ll remedy that on my own in the near future as I did the others. I think my standards on TV are more relaxed so long as it’s not 4K.

Couple things... no you should not transfer the discs.. its like 2 inches of spacs bro come on look behind you you really care about saving 2 inches of space somewhere? Second, what do you mean 4k's are more susesptible to scratches? Theres literally a coating on them to make them harder to scratch Third... it looks AMAZING... like reference quality amazing so if you didnt keep it you missed out

Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. Your feedback is appreciated! I’m not likely to transfer the discs at this point even when I say that two inches is definitely something I care about. Most people, men and women, would love to gain two inches! 😂 I go to great lengths for that. When I say 4Ks are more susceptible to scratches, I’m not saying they are more prone to getting scratched. Being more susceptible means they fall victim to those scratches more so than other formats. Playability of a 4K can be thrown off by a disc imperfection we can’t even see. A scratch can be the death of it. It’s looking more like I’ll hold on to the set thanks to people such as yourself who have vouched for the quality of this transfer. Thank you for letting me know!
