Thank you, I admire your art. It's simple and deep! I'm going to show to my young art students. Please continuing posting here.

Cool! I didn't know this also exists in Japan. We have a similar ancient art to your suminagashi here in Turkey. But we use a different technique and the inks we use are more solid so they don't spread on the water as quick as yours.

@edeligonul Thank you for valuable comment. Then I am sorry that thanks are late. I think that there is similar technique across the country. I wanted to watch the marbling of your country by all means.

A reply to comment is sorry to be late. Thank you for indication. I surely thought that I should have picturized a process to dry it after having raised paper.

@edeligonul I watched the movie which you taught. I really appreciate this. The marbling of your country ,'ebru', was really vivid and was beautiful. I thought that a design was made static because oil was sprinkled on the surface of the water a lot first. Surely, in the other countries, there is various technique.

very interesting BUT what are the materials used in the tray? & what types of paints ? the information would be helpful to try. if some special imported stuff is req. then it would be very expensive art to follow in India!!!

I would love to have seen the finished results on the paper. I thought there was going to be a big reveal at the end. :)

Why do you not show the finished designs??? Watching the technique without showing the result is frustrating! Like someone making a video about how to make a chocolate cake and then never actually showing the finished cake! ... ... ... Ohhhhh, now I get it! "The sumi nagashi is a lie!"

a little explanation throughout would be nice. for instance what is that clear chemical youre using? very interesting but not very informative

I watched 7 minutes of video, watching the same process from 3 different angles, All angles showed you working on the same piece, and Yet, you never actually show us the finished piece? One teeny tiny shot of it at the end there, but not there long enough, nor shown in any level of detail, that one could actually take it in. To put it bluntly, that really sucked.
