acrylic would sink. Ink or Sumi was used, but obviously a high-quality type of ink.

what happened at 1:49 ? You create all these lovely patterns then it jumps to someone wiping them all up with a newspaper and then taking a really horrible print on cloth. Where was the lovely print that should have been made after all the work creating it?

Its a different vat. The pinkish one was shown previously in the video. And the newspaper didnt wipe anything away - it created a flow in the water to pull the ink down and give it that 'stretch' effect
