Alyssa you and a cup of great coffee are my Sunday sweet treat! I’m slowly transitioning towards slow fashion and had learn so much from you. In my younger years I gravitated toward boho style so it will take a while to replace my colorful and full of pattern pieces, which are hard to pair with other pieces, to great neutrals. And trying to incorporate your signature move….an unexpected twist. Your Gucci scarf is an absolute beauty. I’ve tried to find similar with no luck. But will take my time. And best of all. I visited yesterday my local thrift store and my guilty pleasure boutique and…came home with nothing! Surprisingly satisfying feeling! Thank you for being such an inspiration and creating beautiful community here for us all to enjoy!

Hey! Don't get rid of your boho style just because it's colorful and not cohesive. There are a few channels out there that can inspire you despite your love for color! Fernanda Approximately right is one of them, maybe check her out? She does capsules and is always wearing color and pattern! I find I'm influenced alot by these people but a white crew neck is my nightmare yanno? I say love what you love!

Love your espadrilles! My favorite look was the dress worn as a cardigan over your silk skirt! I also loved the sky blue sweater over the skirt (for chilly evenings). As you say, I like the capsule wardrobe to really appreciate the number of ways I can style my clothes! Now I think: "Oh! And what you did here for style is why I like thrifting or purchasing retail total front button up dresses. I like when you do these type of videos, because like I said it really a good train of thought process if someone is going on a trip to lessen the baggage needed to pack. I love button up shirts/dresses but they ALWAYS gap on me at the chest and hip level, even when they fit well otherwise. A few times I've sewn them closed, but it defeats the versatility of the pieces ☹

I am an extreme minimalist when I’m going on a plane trip. A small carry on for a two week trip at the end of winter to Paris and Bruxelles. One coat, the shoes I am wearing. Wonderful ideas 💡 I just got a button up dress vintage 90s and it will really add to my summer outfits. It gets really hot here in August and September. Around 90-100. With the exception of the sweater unless the nights cool way down, I can pretty much use all your ideas. Also no shorts for me anymore. Thank you thank you 😊

Great capsule! I'd use linen shorts instead of denim ones and linen/tencel trousers instead of jeans (+35 in the Nothern Italy), but the other staples and their combinations are cool!

I like your idea of using what you ave in your closet without reducing the capsule. What I am planing to do is a “capsule” of 50 pieces that I rotate every month, but even then, if I feel like I will wear something weather appropriate and it is outside of the capsule, I will go ahead. I just want to find creative ways of wearing what I have without either over consuming or getting rid of things that I actually love.

I do something similar, I sort of rotate every season, but in an organic way. So, for instance, if the weather is suddenly hotter, I will get more hot weather clothing out earlier and vice versa for cold weather.

@@djpekkyI completely agree. I am in the UK and this year our weather went from winter temperatures to summer almost overnight, now it"s cooler again... Some years I don't even wear some of that season's clothes eg. a wet spring or warm autumn. Flexibility is definitely key!
