Summer Schedule | Routine | Mom of 4 | Ages 5-10 | Benefits For Kids and Mom

Having a summer schedule takes the guess work out of figuring out how to entertain your kiddos during the summer. Having a routine gives everyone a purpose, and it allows for creativity!
Also, one more thing I didn't address in the video... we have a rule about electronics. No electronics until after dinner. We normally let the kids play ABCyea.com or Roblox on the chromebooks, and let them watch a movie to wind down before bed. It's nice because they know the rules, so I don't get asked all day long about watching TV.

I absolutely love you buddy idea! We've started this with my almost 7 and almost 4 year old. I love that it's hands off for mama (I do help with planning and getting things into the bin). They will be doing loads of themes for our buddy time this summer!

Definitely! It comes down to schedule. I would schedule in time with other kids as well, or zoom time or online classes for kids if you don’t want to go out. Make it apart of their weekly schedule. I was raised as an only child (older siblings)... my mom was good about keeping me on a schedule that involved a lot of activities
