Hi, great idea that summer list and than doing something fun as a family. Also playing more games is something we might do also. We started homeschooling in september and we will homeschool all year through (except some days off when we go camping and such) because I notice my kids need the routine. We homeschool a little bit in the morning and a little bit in the afternoon. But changing it up for summer is a great idea, like reading and games. Have a nice day!

Thanks for sharing! This year I’m going to try to do science and history during the summer. We’ll probably take June off and work in July and August. I find that I’m so DONE with full days of school by spring time, so I was thinking that if I started in July, maybe I could be done by March. We’ll see how it goes 😉 Good luck with your surgery!!

We will be ending in about a week and will take off until after the Fourth of July. We always do scripture study, personal reading and piano but that’s it for our “off time.” When we start back up, we will be doing some book clubs with neighbors and online for LA, finishing all the science/STEM project boxes I’ve collected in the last couple years that we haven’t gotten around to yet, do an at-home art camp curriculum I bought last year but didn’t get to, play lots of math games to strengthen mental math and continue learning state history and going on field trips. I’ll do it in the afternoons for about 90 minutes, just a couple subjects a day, unless it’s a field trip.
