I herniated 3 disks in my back. I had to go to 3 physical therapy sessions and had to wait 3 months before I could even get an MRI. At which point I was healed enough to start walking mostly normally again. I also went to my doctor with Stephen Johnson's syndrome and told them that I had it and they laughed me off like I had no idea what was going on. A week later it had spread to my mouth and I had to be flown to a burn unit to be treated. The American healthcare system sucks and doctors think they know way more than they fucking do. Trust a patient. People know their own fucking bodies.
