Hey Zuzuzcorn, I loved the video and I'll share some powerful tips that it may be very useful PRE-HARDMODE: 1 - Once you defeat the skeletron, don't need to fight the WoF using the Snapthorn, instead you can try to use the Spinal Tap because not only you are dealing more damage (18 Snapthorn - 29 Spinal) but the Snapthorn does 40% less damage for each hit with a single swing but the spinal only does 10%, which makes the WoF extremely easy and you can easily make the spinal with 90 bones and 55 cobwebs 2 - Yet in Pre-hardmode, you can use the Feral Claws because melee speed actually increases whip speed and it'll make your whip auto-swing 3 - If you want to be more "minion dependent", you can fight the bee queen and make the bee armor but I highly recommend making the Obsidian armor, since it only takes some tissues, obsidian and silk (30 Silk, 60 Obsidian and 20 Tissue sample or shadow scale). It'll make your spinal tap do so much damage and using the feral claws you can beat the wof without using any summon at all because it's waaay to strong. 4 - So, you fought the Queen Bee? great, you can make use of the Witch Doctor's Imbuing station. Whips does receive benefits from Flasks, which mean you can make your spinal tap still does poison damage with the poison flask or make the ichor flask and shatter 20 defense from almost every boss in the game, making the whips even stronger 5 - Also, if you have the witch doctor, it means you can buy the pygmy necklace now :D Extra minion = extra damage FIGHTING EMPRESS: 1 - Although the sanguine staff is optional, it's actually the best one for fighting her! The sanguine staff has the biggest aggro range for minions. If you don't have the sanguine, consider using the Raven staff but it won't be nearly as great as the sanguine. FIGHTING MOON LORD: 1 - If you use the Stardust dragon, you don't need to summon any other minions if you want to maximize your damage potential. Stardust dragon does "summon dmg*(1.69 + .46(summon length - 1))", In other words, the more times you summon the dragon, the more damage it'll do. If you are using the spooky armor with the right acessories and preset, you can do up to more than 10 times and it's lenght will make him shred any moon lord eye. And don't forget the aggro range, it becomes pretty handy.

For me personally, i would go for leather whip, or snapthorn, then id go for spinal tap. For armor I would go for obsidian (if you're gonna use whips to fight wall of flesh) For minions, I would go for finch staff or if you cant find one then go for flinx, then go for imp staff (for me personally i wouldnt go for queen bee or use anything from her because I like to rely on my whip and not my minions) When fighting wall of flesh try to get your minions behind it, then use your whip to get most of the hungrys, then i would spam your ballista staff, make sure you have enough mana and mana potions, or you can just spam your whip the whole time. (remember this is my opinion, no hate to this guy) Also sorry if some of the stuff i said wasn't in the game at the time, i didn't really think about it intill now so sorry for my ignorance.

Small update for daylight EoL/Terraprisma: As of 1.4.4.x, daylight EoL will *still* kill you through dodge effects like hallowed armor, master ninja gear, etc, so don't bother with those, as well as defensive potions. It's time to go full DPS. What worked for me was kitting up on full damage and menacing with Xeno Staff, I think Sanguine would work better due to the range, not sure. I think I had the 2 scrolls, summoner emblem, Fishron wings, insignia and ninja gear for the dash, all on menacing. Just take some time to learn her attack patterns and keep on going at night just to study the dodge windows, but most importantly, be patient. It's a difficult boss and when you die, try and assess what went wrong and learn for next time. It became a "kill before you get killed" situation for me, and tbh getting all the lacewings (I think I used around 53) was more stressful for me. Definitely loving my new shiny Terraprisma, hope you all get it too! c:

TO 1.4.4 PLAYERS: The dreadnautilus cheese no longer works, the blood shots now go through walls! The easiest way to kill it (in my opinion) is with a blade staff and cool whip. I also used Ironskin, Regen, Summoner, Endurance buff, and a Pumpkin Pie. Try to keep your distance and build a proper arena for the dreadnautilus, treat him as a boss! Make sure to avoid the bloods squids at all costs, don’t kill them because they have too much HP, just avoid them the best you can, and only whip the dreadnautilus so your summoner target that instead of all the other enemies. I hope this helped, this is how I got my sanguine staff in 1.4.4

The blade staff is extremely easy to obtain early hard mode. Once you have cool whip, spider staff, and some wings, kill the queen slime a couple times.

In The making of this video it's 1.4 which for a short period of time the blade staff is almost impossible to get because it drops from The enchanted swords enemy that's found in the underground hallow. And they're really rare. But after a while Re-logic changed it to a Queen Slime drop with a 1/3 chance to drop

9:35 The Xeno is far more better than the Stardust cells, stardust cells might only be better on dps on *one* enemy, the dragon is good at that already, Xeno travels Faster and attacks faster, it follows you accurately since it teleports on top of you The stardust can be inconsistent and whenever you’re running away the stardust cells needs to catch up to you before they will attempt to attack again, Xeno however theyll teleport on top of you and instantly attack nearby enemies, Test 2 of this items and you’ll see the Xeno is far better, if you made a Stardust cell staff, Just dont use it.

id like to mention if you like breaking progression try to locate a bewitching table underground near the dungeon once you find it make a spawn point nearby and with your molten pickaxe keep trying o mine into the dungeon since your spawn is right there it doesn't matter how many times you die keep going until you make it to the table and pick it up and boom free extra summon

yo tbh i think there are a few comments like this, but in pre-hardmode. in the snow biome there are these enemies called flinx, from them you can get these things called flinx fur, which can make a summon, a chestplate that gives you a summon slot, and while in the jungle biome try to grab a feral claw. these increase the whip speed and gives auto swing, while you are there you could make a house too. with the 1.4 update you can grab that pygmy necklace from the witch doctor which comes after queen bee has been defeated, and he sales the pygmy necklace at night. doing that gives you more damage and more summons so if you are having a hard time make sure you can get these upgrades, and maybe if you are still struggling with this maybe kill skeletron, in this mans house enemies drop bones which can be made for the spinal tap, "the best pre-hardmode whip" . and about this hard mode. i think you really dont need to build your way up through all the summons for hard mode i would reccommend looking up happy days video, tho she does talk in normal mode instead of expert but everything is mostly the same thanks for reading

honestly the best guide ive seen so far ive started my first hardmode playthrough today and only got up to pumpkin armor and a tiny house :/ this guide really makes me think I can do it. @Zuzucorn I finaly did it man! All bosses including daytime empress , all events , crafted zenith ! For the first time ever! And i followed the steps in this video and did it all as a summoner! It was awesome! Thank you very much!

We had a don't starve event and now there is a new item called "abigail's flover" which I think is the most easily obtainable item (stuff) for a summoner. You have to put the grave and wait for the flower to grow somewhere nearby (you can place more to increase the chance of it appearing)

I'm playing Summoner for the first time, while also player Master mode for the first time. I got Abigail's Flower before any boss, just beat the EoC and King Slime last night using Snapthorn with Abigail, as well as a Demon Bow. I didn't even use food and buffs and I didn't have Hermes boots, and I did it with 220 HP and Gold Armour.

If you guys are struggling with empress, go full glass cannon dps as opposed to dodge chance. You should be able to kill daytime EOL in about 30 seconds without needing to whip stack which makes the fight a lot easier once you get decently used to her attack patterns

I recommend obsidian armor over molten because the set bonus makes it viable even into early hardmode.
