The WHIPLASH I got in 2008 when SLAGGY LINDSAY became KATE!!! Angus, Thongs, Perfect Snogging came out then 22 DAYS LATER this one came out!! My 13 year old-self could not deal & both of them still slap!

Went to boarding school. Can confirm - you have to share a room with three to five other girls for the first few years. As you get older the numbers dwindle. By Year 11, we were in rooms with just one other girl. You do finally get your own room in Sixth Form (Year 12/13) but the first few years are a slog! Edit: also, I know you didn’t ask but the communal baths were a real thing too. It was weird. In my boarding house, we had one big bathroom with a bunch of shower stalls and a few baths behind a curtain. We had assigned bath nights and bath times because we were only allowed to have a bath one night a week as a ‘treat’. So yes, there were like two or three of us bathing at the same time. Boarding school is so weird.
