So still homebound due to an injury over a month ago in Fatima. The wound is not healing as the doctor wants. So please pray for me. When I was at the doctors on Thursday and the doctor had to debride the wound I winced. He asked if he was hurting me. I told him, I would just “offer it up.” He said, “ We’re lucky to have tools to help as Catholics.” Well, yes we are doc!!! Thank you Jesus for allowing me to “offer it up.” The best part is Mass with Fr. Dave and crew. God bless. 🙏🏻

Father Dave, I am on week two of a terrible cough that is driving me crazy. I get it every time I get a bad cold. I was really suffering today and all I wanted was to be comforted by my mother. She died 18 months ago. This evening I decided to sit down to listen to your mass. When you talked about "offering it up" I nearly fell over. Anytime I was suffering or worried about something her answer was "Offer it up." Every time I need her most she comes through in some way. Today she came to me through you. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer in 2018. GOD DID NOT DO IT. HE helped and healed me. I am in remission. I thank God everyday for the gift of life He has given me. Hey Fr. Dave, I raised my hand to nearly all of your injury questions, and had a few more to add! "smiley face" already have 19 pieces of steel holding me together, the VA wants to make it 30. but just recently I received a diagnosis that was misdiagnosed for nearly 20 years. My Health has significantly decreased due to not treating the cause properly. " not jabbed, just saying." Anyway Saturday morning I said this in my prayer, "Lord I thought there would be a time of no wind for my sails, but I was not ready for my mast to be snapped off and a hole punched in my boat, and blown offshore 1000 miles!" But then said, "ok, 100 miles, there has always got to be someone in need more." This homily was so amazingly powerful for me, you said exactly what the Lord needed me to hear! God has blessed you greatly, and may He continue to do so abundantly. Peace to you brother!!!
