I came to know Christ in jail in 2013 by reading a book, "Overcoming spiritual blindness" by James P. Gills MD. The veil was taken off my eyes. Heaven came through for me. Now i have a home a husband and a lovely year old daughter (Zoa), and a stream of income that get me $25,000 monthly. I can support God's work and give back to my community. God is absolutely more than enough!

On this Father's day I came to realize that I was always a good father. I was in a marriage raising a child that was not my own. The grandparents always told the child I was not her father. Ultimately it caused a divorce, reorganization bankruptcy, and a family that was turned against me. To walk with God by my side through the darkest times has been the only strength to be found. To have faith is the only comfort needed. I'm just a cattle rancher with no children. Happy Father's day

Greetings I am messaging you on June 29th 2024. I am totally at the end of my rope. I am suffering from 2 insanely painful diseases and I have been for over 25 years. Both of them have been misdiagnosed over and over and over again while I am just crippled with pain day after day. I asked that you pray for a miracle that God will just find a way either through his own work or the work of some new doctors that I'm now seeing please please help me get my life back. Well I was a concert pianist and now I cannot sit down because of one of these diseases the other just takes over your life as the immune system just fights at you as though you're the problem sort of like any serious immune system response disease but they cannot seem to find what's causing it I can't even remember what having a normal life is like again would anyone reading this message please please pray to God for me and ask him to relieve this pain. I can't thank you enough and I pray for you as well and that we all end up in God's arms with no pain no tears and everything that comes with the incredible Resurrection. Thank you all so much, Al

I know the show you’re talking about and I know the episode. Unfortunately, it was pretty standard fair in our house. And Monday being Boy Scout night I was usually heading out the door to my boys, but I do remember the young man talking about his father. My father to the outside world he was the king of the city. He was worshiped and adored more than he ever ever deserved to be. Because in the 60s and 70s when no one knew what went on behind closed doors, and the way he treated us was completely acceptable. We were scared to death of him my brother especially he took great and knocking around my sister and I were lucky we didn’t get the theory of his temporary often but when we did he knew it. This is the 11th Father’s Day that he is not here and I can honestly say we are better for it. We do talk about him and talk about some of the good memories but mostly if his name comes up, it’s not the good stuff it’s the bad stuff. Maybe it’s our way of working through it. I don’t know I always knew it buying him a Father’s Day card was the hardest thing I had to do the whole year When he came to family celebrations. In a way I miss him anyway I’m glad he’s gone. I’m sure there are many children of the 60s and 70s who know exactly how I feel and exactly what I’m talking about. I’m not know those fathers follow the true father, in their interactions with not only their families but with the outside world I say thank you and have a blessed day.😊

Some strange men start harassing me again, some gossip even started spreading, I don't know why, I sit at home with my kids, wear oversized clothes, use almost no makeup and read. Am I glowing too much or what? :)) - so I immediately "hid in the shadow of the cross" or in the shadow of God, as I say. I have to admit, not to think about God's greatness, but to feel more secure and protected. So I started to read Silvano Fausti. And Jerusalem bible where do I look for quotes.

Jeff Cavins books are awesome. Max Lucado is also a very gifted writer. Peter Kreeft is amazing. Scott Hahn and Brant Pitre are gifted as well. I read alot as well. St Thomas Aquinas is helpful. St Augustine Confessions, Imitation of Christ Thomas A Kempis, The Brothers Karamozov Dostoevsky, C S Lewis, J R R Tolkien, Pope John Paul II, Mitch Pacwa, Fr Calloway and, yes, J K Rowling to name a few. I am sure that you have already read some of these, if not all, but I hope this helps. I read them in addition to the bible. The Word Among Us is also very helpful as well. This list is, believe it or not, a short list 😂 as I have to run to mass. Enjoy! Btw I also find Anthony Hopkins hysterical. He has a quote by a Jesuit priest that you might enjoy: Just google Anthony Hopkins and what the Jesuit priest told him the best short prayer he knew was. 😂😂😂Gotta go! Enjoy!
