I think the "Zoo is bad" one is actually referring to the rather large anti-zoo sentiment pushed online about 3 years back. It was fortunately shut down by people who knew what the fuck they were talking about pretty quick, but it got big attention before that. I remember it pretty well, though, and it definitely garnered attention, for both good and bad reasons. Also, didn't know "black widow" was a regional dialect instead of it's actual name. Also, Long leggers arn't spiders, actually, they're another class of bug entirely.
