Damn, the numbers 21-99 being in reverse actually sucks a lot. German is the fourth language I’ve learnt/am learning and it’s the first time I’ve encountered such an ordering for numbering. It’s quite simply super counter intuitive, oh well

It is a better beginning for anyone who speaks another language. Thank you. But I can't find the next part of these lessons. Please help me.

The funniest thing is when my friend asked our high school German teacher how to say 555,555. And he responded, funfhundertfunfundfunfzigtausentfunfhundertfunfundfunfzig.

Hello! I actually have a doubt with numbers. I have a book that I'm learning German from, alongside your videos. I came across this example for telephone numbers in it that says, on a telephone, "zwo" is used instead of "zwei". I just want to know if this for over telephone in specific or conversations in general.
@Samu1212aa4 жыл бұрын
"Zwo" ist actually the feminine version of "zwei" but the most use it in colloquial language. Most people anyway just say "zwei". (almost always you just use the simple form of numbers and not the masculine / feminine version)
