Got the Row-N-Ride a few weeks ago. Awesome machine. Far better than I expected. Really gives a great workout. But are you telling me she got those abs from the Row-N-Ride?

You can work your abs on this machine by going to almost the top of the travel and then holding it for a count of 20. There's a spot just before the top travel where you will feel it in your abs, then feel that nice burn later.

Toning the arms and would help more with stomach, but you should keep your core tight as you exercise and have a good proper diet with consistency for best results.

Hi there! Yes, it is possible to get a great upper body workout with this machine. The resistance bands will get tighter as you pull the handlebar towards your body. Complete exercises like bicep curls, as well as several variations of rowing exercises to target your upper body with this machine! If you’d like to focus just on your arms, keep your body in a neutral standing position while completing upper body exercises! quick question i used this machine today and my lower back hurt a lot after using it, am i doing something wrong ?

Your lower back could be sore from the exercise. The height adjustments could be changed as well if you feel uncomfortable using the equipment.

@@SunnyHealthFitness thanks its good now, i adjusted the seat i was too far back, and was maybe using my back more to lift up than my feet. after fixing the seat and making sure i push with my legs not back it's great, now its just pain on my legs from how hard these are to do, which is great because i'm getting a good workout.

What heart rate zones are you at during these segments? Are you 130-160 the whole 30 minutes?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, our Row-N-Ride does not have pulse sensors to keep track of heart rate during the workout, however you can keep track yourself with a heartrate monitor or fitness watch.

Since everyone’s metabolism is different, the best way to estimate your calories burned is to use the metabolic equivalent equation. We estimate that the MET value of your workout will be between 6-8. Using this value you can use the following equation to determine your estimated calories burned. Total calories burned = Duration (in minutes)*(MET*3.5*weight in kg)/200. For real time calorie tracking you could use a activity tracker like our Smart Fit Watch.
