Since disappearing in early January 2021, CallMeCarson has barely said a word. The absolute travesty of a scenario has kept Carson off the internet for 4 months - But recently CallMeCarson made a small appearance on streamer Ludwig's livestream, he has been changing his steam profile to troll, and even posted an Instagram story. Does this mean that he is coming back..?

Amen. As someone with a handful of mental illnesses, being forced to talk about it in front of millions of people and then possibly harassed for it because my illnesses aren't good enough or whatever would make me more likely to collapse. Depression is one thing, but there's even worse illnesses such as borderline personality disorder, what I have, which is like depression but with the added bonus of impulsive, irrational decisions (among many other things), suicide often being one of those decisions. That internet hate and all of those people knowing about your problems just leads to so many thoughts in your head that you can't control. My thoughts go crazy when I feel like someone in my small friend group thinks I'm not perfect. I can't imagine that being amplified to the extremes that internet fame brings. It's better for their mental health to be private. I am happy Carson is being private about his situation. Wouldn't be surprised if his therapist or a friend said it'd be best to not talk about it online.

I'm pretty sure that people were more concerned with the power dynamic that Carson had over them. They'd do most of the things he'd ask for because they idolized him, and people saw that as possibly manipulative and/or abusing the fame and power that he had. Although I don't think he deserved to get as much hate as he did.
