Thanks Colin much appreciated, just goes to show a large part of landscape photography is getting to the right locations, shame its just not that simple ! Life has a habit of getting in the way :-)

@@LeePelling Scotland is in some ways a strange place, you can stand in the bay where you were and think to yourself (looking around) that the light is crap (excuse my french) but after you have taken you chosen images and put them in Lightroom you are immediately surprised what you can draw out of the Raw file and you realise that the light wasn't as bad as you thought............C.

@@sanclewphotographic modern cameras have pretty good dynamic range now, I have often taken multiple exposures only to need one . I did think while in glencoe that even towards mid day the light was actually really good, diffused by the low cloud etc. Little to far sadly to go often !

A cracking location up there Lee and some wonderful subject matter and light with which to work ! A grand collection of photographs and quite a haul from one spot on one afternoon! We would have loved to stopped here on our way further north earlier last month but that said Scotland is just beauty personified. Look forward to more from the trip 👍🏻

Seems I did miss it. Lovely area and its a few years since I have been to Scotland - I need a return. That is a fab lone tree but it'sd a pity it's not covered with water... cracking sky on the images with the tree.. my fave of the selecrtions on the tree was at 11:02 atb Al

That was great Lee. I really enjoyed the scenery as shown from your drone. It really gives a different perspective to the viewer of the surrounding area. Scotland is gorgeous, only been there once, and didn't hit the beauty spots unfortunately. I really liked the images and thought they progressively got better as the day went along. That lone little tree looks like it would be tough to compose but you did a nice job with it! Can't wait for the next Scotland vlog! Take care pal!

@@paulcookphotography Thanks mate. It's an old drone as they go now, still not overly confident flying it but I am getting better at it and like you say adds another viewpoint . This is a grfat little spot , easy access as the car park was right on the bay. Glad you liked it.

Really enjoyed this buddy, you worked that location really well. I think my favourite was the image that was positioned well in between land and the island, that worked well and you gave the position of the tree a lot of thought 👍
