He sang my from my soul, my good, my bad, my happy & sad days. _Today & the last few days have been very sad for our family._ My little Sisters Husband took his life on Sunday evening of last (8/26/2018). _Being the big brother I asked a Detective there when the clean-up crew would be there._ I was informed that being a suicide, it was up to the Family to do that horrendous deed or call a business to do it, so I called, explained how he took his life. I was told that they start out at $1500 per hour! (We could NOT afford that.) _So we had no choice but to clean it up ourselves._ *God Bless my Older Sister's Husband George for helping me, I could barely do it but it had to be done & quickly.* Took us 3 hours or more, 6 shop towels rolls, a whole package of heavy duty paper towels & lots of bleach etc.... *_No one should ever have to do that, especially family_* (It's left me with an image I'll never get away from, honestly.) ~ Please, please, please for all those that talk suicide, do not do it! _It hurts the family more so than one can imagine._ Get help if you can, talk. And remember, it's a very selfish act that only makes it worse on the family. ~~ *_Truth, Peace, Freedom & L♥ve2ALL™_* *James* 8/29/2018 5:38pm

As I sit at my computer listening to this song, I overwhelmingly burst out in tears because his lyrics hit so close to home. Chris Cornell takes your worries and reminds you of the lighter heart of the world. He reminds me in this song, that it IS OKAY to have bad days and no one should tell you others wise. You are the man, myth, and legend and continue to surprise me every day I listen to you. #WeMissYouChris

Wow Jasmine, that was beautiful. I'm sitting here 5am, all by myself in my quiet house listening to Chris. It's what I do when I'm depressed. No TV, couldn't pay the bill. No job. Rent looming in the future that I'm not sure how I will pay, and coming to the realization that getting a job in your 50s is a lot harder than it was in my 20s and 30s. Having some very hard times right now. But listening to Chris makes all my worries meander to the back of my brain. Gone for a few short moments as I listen in awe every time I hear his beautiful voice. He brings me to tears so often with the incredible emotion that he displays in his songs. Really trying hard not to cry this time. I've never been moved so much by anyone like Chris. And this version of Mind Riot in SF, Chris on stage solo is beyond amazing.

Hearts strings pulling~ a week after audioslave played MSG, met Chris on West 4th St with my son & daughter, then 6 & 4, we talked briefly about the effect of his music, then he held my daughter, son to his left, me to his right, and we snapped a photo, before he disappeared into his RV/trailer. Unbelievably kind, gracious, and 'present' to me, my wife & and kids. ~Say Hello to Heaven~

I want you to know that I did tell him the same thing in person at a concert about 8 years ago. I waited in line to talk to him for over an hour. He was signing pics and shit. Then I got up there he asked if I have something for him to sign. I said. That's not the reason I was here. I wanted to just thank the man that helped me through so many bad weeks and months. And shake your hand. He stood up and hugged me and shook my hand and said thanks. That ment more to me than any picture with his name on it. He told me that my words ment more to him than I could imagine. He hugged me again. Not like a pat on back. Like a full blown man hug. I saw the same sorrow in his eyes that I had in mine too many a times . That was the only time i saw him get out of the chair.
