It’s a peculiar design, isn’t it? Reminds me of WWII tank destroyers. Looks quite cool, though and it will work nicely with the solar auxilia troops. Great review 👍🏻

Thorough review as always, I plan on getting at least one of these so will keep an eye on the sponsons to make sure there aren't any issues. I do love the Malcador, it reminds me of Forge World's range before the Horus Heresy got big, back when they were making... awesome resin baneblades that would be cool to see youtube reviews of... perhaps on this channel even! ;p I do really like that they've added a vanquisher variant for this kit. Back when the Krieg range came out quite a few people would convert malcadors by sawing off the top casemate section and putting a mars alpha vanquisher turret on top, to represent a command leman russ. It's nice that you can now basically do that, but without needing any intensive conversion work.

I assembled mine with Vanquisher cannon, Demolisher cannon and two flamers. Turns out, that combination is illegal to use in 40k....
