The way you get a kitty like that is to give them loving attention when they want it. If you notice the man in the video stops petting his cat several times, cats can become over stimulated easily which can lead to biting and scratching, when that happened he stopped touching his cat to let him/her calm down. He loves his cat and his cat loves him.

There are different types of purring. Slower, and low pitched purrs can mean it's scared or threatened. Higher, louder, and longer purrs can mean it's affectionate and loving to it's environment. Sometimes it could be the opposite. So be open minded about what's it's feeling.

Cats have been domesticated for less time than dogs, so they are more independent. Some people want a more needy pet. That's fine, but some of these people dislike cats simply because they don't love them unconditionally, and that's not fine. To me it's them saying, "How DARE you not love me for existing! I hate you!"

Eh animals including dogs don't have complex emotions as humans do, the bond they form are usually food driven, just like other pack animals. I haven't seen a single case of a dog loyalty that doesn't involve food or treats. Dogs basically see their owners as food dispensers, stop feeding your dog for a week and see if they would still follow you around. Not sure about cats since they are more independent than dogs when it comes to food, they don't follow you around like dogs do since they aren't pack animals though I've seen cats that can recognize people that pet or stroke them. I'm sure it's their way of saying "Oh I know you, you're that friendly guy, let me rub against you and roll over in front of you to let you know that I trust you."

Me too!!! I really want to pet his wiskers!! He has really plump wiskers pads!!! If you compare his/her's to a lot of other cats in videos you can see how much puffier his/her's are. Most cats 🐈 LOVE their wiskers petted and this one kept trying to get the owner to pet them but the owner just couldn't figure it out.
