With the price of Super Bowl tickets averaging about $9,500, several Las Vegas locals told Channel 13's Abel Garcia they've been priced out of the game and will be watching from home.

Most people do not know that this stadium was built with local tax dollars, the traiders owners didn’t put up all the money if any. Plus, the traiders owners stiffed Henderson on an auction for the property where their training field and offices sit, then sold off the remaining properties and the field/offices just to lease them back from a supposed new owner. Wake up, they do not care about the local community or public. Their home games are not even affordable let alone this Super Bowl in our own backyard. As a Disabled Vet and a parent, I cannot afford to take my family even though we love football and have as fans many players from many teams we like and follow. Super Bowl Las Vegas tickets two weeks ago were $12,500 for the cheapest seats and about $45,000-$65,000 for the lower bowl area near 40 & 50 yard line. Thank you local government. It’s a shame and has many names. SMH.

@@JimboInTheHouse1 yeah they’re getting rid of more of the classic casinos that Vegas was known for, crazy to think that they’re getting rid of the a Tropicana to build the ball park for the Oakland A’s as if we all don’t already see the traffic that the Allegiant Stadium brings, The Mirage which was my favorite will also shut down his year and turned in a Hard Rock, replacing the volcano with an ugly guitar. They got rid of most buffets, high parking fees, they’re arresting and fining people for standing on the bridges ever since the F1 came in with their 10 year disaster event which brings no benefits for the locals or small businesses owners. If anything the only place that’s still ok for now is downtown at the Fremont Street Experience, I’ll still go there every now and then

I went to Super Bowl 56 as an L.A. Local. The 2 tickets me and my aunt got were $4000 each. We spent a total of $8000 for those 2 tickets. We pretty much got a bargain since we only had to pay for tickets and we didn't have to worry about paying for a hotel or a flight. Sure, I do have a friend in Vegas I could stay with to avoid hotel prices, but realistically, I do not want to go with the matchup we got. These prices are outrageous for this year.

I know these ticketing customs so well. Question: Why is there no selection process where you can register and be drawn? This should be possible for everyone. I'm thinking 80% of the capacity in a lottery at good prices. Then there would be something left over for a fan article. The rest can be given away at high prices to the rich and beautiful. It's not good to ignore all the fans who support their teams all year round. The NFL makes enough money worldwide with cooperation contracts, broadcast rights and fan articles. I also don't think it's a good idea if you give up everything to pay these prices to be there live. By the way, that's my opinion and doesn't have to please everyone.Take care of yourselves ok.
