Spartan is correct. (FULL CREDIT DUDE.) Homelander hated Teddy. He was jealous of him, so why on Earth would he save the baby? Teddy automatically teleported and saved himself.
@mathmexican42342 жыл бұрын
to play Devil's advocate, his hate for Teddy stemmed from Stillwells attention leaving him for the baby. When he found out she was deceiving him about his own son, there theoretically wouldn't be any hate, since the attention from her meant nothing anymore. And he always showed respect for his own kind over humans, and doesn't want children supes to go through what he went through. So theoretically, it could be plausible he took the baby to an orphanage. Also, how would they know a random teleporting babies name. Unless it was chipped or something perhaps, which is possible in this world. I'm just saying it's not iron clad either way.
@starbrand37262 жыл бұрын
@@mathmexican4234 All babies are finger printed and foot printed, so I'm guessing that's how they learned baby Teddy's identity. Also, in season two, episode one, Chris Hansen, during that horrible reenactment of Stillwell's death, asked why was Madelyn Stillwell's baby found safe in a backyard 17 miles away? Even they didn't know he teleported. I will assume the authorities took Teddy to the normal child protection services. Now the real question is, how did he end up in a Supe orphanage? At some point baby Teddy must have used his power again in order for the authorities to know that he was a Supe. And...why didn't Madelyn have any guardians set up for baby Teddy? No Grandparents, Godparents? Why didn't Vought swoop in a take the child? Because they didn't know he was a Supe. Madelyn probably injected Teddy herself and never told Vought.
@mathmexican42342 жыл бұрын
@@starbrand3726 ah, yes, i forgot about that scene. it's been quite a while. Still, in that video, nobody knew Homelander was there. So perhaps Homelander left Teddy somewhere to be found so that people wouldn't know he was there when Stillwell died. Again, merely throwing out possibilities, since a baby having the reaction time to notice an explosion happening and teleporting away for the first time is quite extraordinary, even in this world.
@starbrand37262 жыл бұрын
@@mathmexican4234 Babies have excellent reaction time. Just ask anyone who has made a loud noise and startled a baby and made them cry. Plus, again you are assuming Homelander saved Teddy because Teddy was a Supe. But how would Homelander have known he was a Supe when even Vought didn't know? Mr Edgar didn't know either or else I'm sure he would have claimed Teddy. A well trained teleporter would make a valuable asset. Also, Homelander is fast, but not A-Train fast. There is no way Homelander had time or the speed to grab Butcher and Teddy before the explosion.
@mathmexican42342 жыл бұрын
@@starbrand3726 I dont want to spoil anything in case spartan or pudgy see this, but from things that happen with Temp V, i think it's safe to assume homelander could smell compound V in someone, given sufficient close contact. In the comics, they have V since the first issues, or rather, the Boys had it even before meeting Hughie. By the way, V was not temporary, but ordinary, that is, eternal. If the series went according to the canon, then Hughie would get a Compound V still with the 3rd episode of season 1. In the comics, they didn't have unique abilities, just super strength, durability, speed and endurance, since a special strain without unique powers was created for them.
@highlander315272 жыл бұрын
Heh. Double the shots up. Since Compound V has a low success rate with adults, use Temp V to see what powers can be drawn out. If it is a good one, like Butcher's, stick him with the full Compound V to lock them in, using the Temp V supe durability to bolster the recipient and force them to stick permanently, healing the damage Temp V does forever. If it's a crappy power, like that guy who could barely levitate a ball in the asylum, or the nonstop vomiting guy, pay him off, no more injections, and move on.
@MMAisTHEbestSPORT082 жыл бұрын
@@highlander31527 Actually, compoundV doesn't have anything to do with durability, it's based off sheer luck and compatibility with compV and your blood, if your blood isn't compatible, you're done for, if it is, enjoy your powers. The tempV wouldn't change anything.
@highlander315272 жыл бұрын
@@MMAisTHEbestSPORT08 That is in direct opposition to what Edgar said about Temp V. Edgar said Temp V will give anyone powers, but not what kind of abilities, because it is unknown what a random person will get. Hence, the whole "Test a person with Temp V to see what they get, because one dose of Temp V is fairly safe. If it does not produce a viable ability, move on." Genetics do play a part in the determination of abilities, of course. The whole Homelander and Ryan thing proves that. But, one thing is shown to be certain. Enhanced durability, faster healing, and enhanced strength is a fairly common ability. Surviving a full on Compound V shot as an unpowered adult is uncommon. It is only logical to to think that if you get one or more of those abilities, the damage from a full Compound V shot would be severely negated in an adult. A Train and Popclaw were mainlining the stuff, and it was hurting them, yes, but a single shot of Compound V to a successful Temp V recipient like Butcher while he was using the Temp V would not kill him, and genetically, Butcher has super strength, heat vision, and was able to tank blows from Gunpowder like they were nothing.
@MMAisTHEbestSPORT082 жыл бұрын
@@highlander31527 Except the compoundV shots if not compatible with said adult isn't really a test of durability, it's more like a test of internal stuff. If one does have super strength and durability from tempV, I don't think that's gonna help them survive a compV shot, it might even make the pain worse.
@highlander315272 жыл бұрын
@@MMAisTHEbestSPORT08 It's genetic. If you notice, repeated use of Temp V yields the same powers each time when used on the same person. Yet, the abilities vary from person to person. I do not expect an adult with JUST Temp V telekinesis would be able to survive a Compound V shot. However, a Temp V recipient of JUST a healing factor would easily be able to handle a Compound V shot that would cause damage that the Temp V would be repairing until the Compound V took full effect and installed the permanent version.

Spartan's gonna be so surprised when he finds out that The Seven aren't actually good. They're superheroes, but they are horrible, horrible people. I can't wait!

Spartan and Pudgey are watching Season 3 now (you can see it in a freaking title of this video or by watching a video itself). They already know that The Seven (or at least most of The Seven) aren't good Supes.

Butcher has come what he once hated,but this don’t matter. I always wonder why he never took the V earlier on … to then be able to actually fight homelander
@nbartlett65382 жыл бұрын
He never took original V because he wants to get rid of all supes, not make more. Taking temp-V is a compromise, although as we saw in episode 1 he was about to pour even that down the sink... until Homelander showed up at his window.
@highlander315272 жыл бұрын
Because in the show, and a lot of times in the comics, real, full, original Compound V produces random abilities of various strengths, and when adults take a full dose to trigger powers, it kills them most of the time. It would be playing Russian Roulette with five loaded chambers to even survive the injection. To get any useful powers out of it would be another spin of the cylinder before pulling the trigger again. Remember, A Train delivered hundreds of vials to terrorist groups around the world to try to create that super villain Homelander wanted. And we have seen four successes. That Boko Haram earth bender Homelander cut in half, the muslim pyro bomber Naqib, Kimiko, and her brother.

It's because of the Congress situation. They remark on this a few times this season. Butcher was more extreme before in his methods but he hated everything about supes and never would consider becoming one, even temporarily. Hughie kind of convinced him they could nail the supes the "right way" through the congressional testimonies. That completely fell apart, but at the same time the team broke up and there was a new situation with the government handling supes, so you see he wants to go back to those methods with Termite, but his hands are tied, you have a more overt super catching govt organization, Hugjie working for Victoria etc. Homelander is getting clobbered by the media. You see him about to pour the V down the sink. As things continue and escalate he then again feels and realizes, not unlike the other characters, that you cannot win the "right way" because the system is rigged. So they have to get back into the mud as it were to deliver justice to these supes, and it helps him justify and take more extreme measures like using the V. Also yes, as highlander said, normal V taken by adults often just kills them outright.

The fact you idealise superhereos and can't handle when they're portrayed more realistically is kinda sad. You gotta get over that mate.

or I dont 😆 i like what i like, dont need to compromise that for anyone elses preference. im still here trying something different and enjoying it. but i will always hold heroes as a strong symbolism of being the uncorruptable representation of truth, courage and defiance that wont bend to madness but rise above it.

Notice how some of Stormfront's views have rubbed off on Homelander, for example how disgusted he looks when he learns that Chelsea (the girl on the roof) is Jewish.
