However Gotenks was able to get all the time he needed to fight Buu thanks to Piccolo for stalling. By the time they got to the fight Gotenks had already achieved the fusion with SSj3. At that point they couldn’t have really gotten any stronger then that. Whether or not if it was strong enough to beat Buu if they actually tried was a different story but the fact is that Gotenks didn’t take the fight seriously at all and just played around in the beginning. That wasted their fusion time and Buu was able to escape back to the lookout where he killed everyone. Imo this is really all on Gotenks. If they would have just listened to Piccolo then maybe the outcome would have been different.

The Human Extinction Attack is to this day is still one of the most impressive mental feats in all of DB. Literally locating and targeting the remaining 20% of the entire world's population, many of which are likely moving targets at different heights all over the planet and blast almost every single one of them. And you can tell that since the blasts were flying around the buildings and curving around to specific targets that he was manually guiding each of the millions of blasts simultaneously. That is supercomputer levels of processing ability and he does that as casually as throwing a punch. That is absolutely insane.

Not only that but the sheer amount of ki needed to do it is also wild. Goku or Vegeta would be completely maxed after something like this. It really puts into perspective that massive power gap between Super Buu and the others.

Gohans eyes were a different color because gohan tried to transform to super saiyan but his power had grown so far that he didn't make it to super saiyan. However, his eyes changed cuz he was at the peak of turning super saiyan but didn't quite break through. Shows how powerful he has become and he isn't even done yet.

His fusion with Daikaioh i heard technically should have had him exactly like this (adult super buu) only with a cape and a vest just like GSK (Daikaioh) but apparently the rumour is that daikaioh supressed his full power and put out his purity & innocence instead. Noticed how powerful he got after eating the good buu? Good buu was basically Daikaioh with suppressed power since he was purely innocent and when absorbed and they Re-fused, he was able to unlock it. Thats why Ultimate gohan stood a way better chance than gotenks. Its also why Kid buu was way less strong but more unrestrained and was EVEN on SSJ3.

Man, Super Buu sure is a tall bastard, he's completely towering over the 7'3' Piccolo. He's gotta be at least 8'4" or something. Piccolo said that he's never sensed anything like Super Buu's power before. Which means to put things into perspective Super Buu is way stronger than Fat Buu and Goku. Why else would Piccolo tell Krillin to sneak the brats into the time chamber? No doubt to be on the safe side, but this is nothing more than desperation. I was on the edge of my seat even Piccolo foolishly suggested Buu to kill the human population to buy them some time. Super Buu smirks with that "Are you sure you want me to do that" look on his face. He surveys the number of people remaining, raises his hand and deletes the population with the human intinction attack. That's when I said "Oh shit! this is worse than I thought!" Super Buu is definitely the most intimidating villian since Imperfect Cell. And again the two brats are sleeping through the genocide of mankind, is mind blowingly infuriating how nonchalant they are with the fate world on their shuolders. Goku you made a mistake leaving this in the kids hands. Let's thank Videl for mouthing off, so Piccolo can play the she's the daughter of Mr. Satan card. It's just a good thing Piccolo through his quick thinking was able to convince Buu to wait an hour. It goes to show even though Super Buu is more intelligent than Fat Buu, he can still be manipulated somewhat.

I liked this episode as a return to form of early Dragonball adventures. Most of DBZ has been about people powering up and blasting each other with ki, rather than breaking out interesting techniques we've never seen before; well here's Buu breaking out the Human Extinction Attack. That's on top of his Food Ray, which to be fair is just a long-range version of Boss Rabbit's power.

I was about 10 years old watching this episode and I was at a lost for words of what Buu did. All us DBZ fans have watched our favorite heroes protect the Earth from extinction only for someone like Buu to do it without hesitation. It also made me realize Buu was not like the other Dragon Ball villains we've dealt with. In the original Dragon Ball series, most villains wanted world domination. DBZ villains like Frieza and Cell never destroyed the Earth right away out of a sense of pride. Frieza basically killed for his own amusement, but he only resorted to destroying planets out of desperation or if a simple race posed a threat to him. Cell had a sense of pride. Like Frieza, Cell liked to toy with his enemies and gave them a chance to fight him before he would destroy the Earth. That sense of pride was Cell's downfall over his need to prove he's the ultimate being. If Cell was smart, he wouldn't have bothered with Gohan and just destroy the planet. But like I said, Cell had that strong sense of pride. Now with Buu, he doesn't care about pride like Cell nor is he interested in ruling over the galaxy like Frieza. He does it without hesitation or remorse nor does he care about giving his enemies more time. He basically does it cause he feels like it. Plus Shin said it himself, that Buu was created as a killing machine with no conscious.

There is a different kind of feeling to super buu. While the previous villains never directly went after the humans - frieza only wanted revenge on Goku, Cell only Attacked humans when they attacked him, following his own rules for the Cell games and only after he lost his mind wanted to destroy the Planet. But Buu going explicitly after the humans is a different Kind of evil.

Bulma's wish to bring those killed by Vegeta back really screwed those people, they were brought back to life just to be killed again later that day/week by either Fat Buu or Super Buu.

Super Buu reminds me of imperfect cell they waste no time imperfect cell during the Android Saga there wasn't much talking involved he got straight to business. With Super Buu I see the same similarities there's no reasoning with him although imperfect cell did like to gloat at times not much though. And I always thought that was an interesting observation even though Super Buu killed everyone on Earth if you noticed his attacks didn't do nothing to Hercule it just went through him.

Don't forget, when they are in the hyperbolic time chamber, they can get stronger by fighting eachother because they are part Saiyan. Saiyans get stronger after they recover from injury. So even by fighting eachother for a whole year, they'd get stronger through training and injury.

@@deckzone3000 but the Saiyan race gets much stronger from sustaining serious injuries. That's why Vegeta had himself almost killed and then healed by Dende to get a massive power boost during the Freiza saga.

@@deckzone3000 I know, but it was in response to Maddisons comment about them getting stronger if they were to go into the hyperbolic time chamber for training. It's theoretically possible for them to get stronger by training to increase their fighting capabilities AND recovering from injuries.
