I see all these comments about the size of the rear tire, the tennis shoes he's wearing and his hair style. SO FUCKING WHAT! I know people who ride in flip flops, they don't care about how far or fast they're going to go, they're out there doing what they want on what they want to do it on. When I was building my first bike I was told by a very old and experienced rider that the #1 rule was to build the bike that you want. You're the one who's going to be riding it and it doesn't matter what others say do what makes you happy! Individuality is what customized bike building is all about.

@Carol Cano no they weren't talking about flip flops however they did comment about the tennis shoes that he was wearing, the width of the rear tire and how far he was limited to ride it because of how he built it. I simply stated that I know people who ride with flip flops on! Not that I would personally but I was simply trying to make a point which was "to each his own".

I don't know much about it but I do know that there are some companies out there that make hand controls for motorcycles for the disabled. Perhaps you could get a trike and have it adapted for you. Good luck and ride free young lady.

@Diane Amaral Well, whether or not you would would be able to ride a motorcycle with hand controls only would depend on what you are able to do physically. I was suggesting a trike because you wouldn't have to worry about balance. I have seen a few people who were in a wheelchair riding a three wheeler. Of course they had it modified somehow so that once they were seated on their bike they simply folded up the wheelchair and took it with them. I'm sure that it would be a challenge at first but once you get used to it you could be out there enjoying the ride.
