Got myself a T-GT II a while back partly due to your coverage. I adore it. Now I've ordered an EVO 32r wheel because I, like you, am VR all the way. I really respect your opinions, keep up the good work.

thx for the review. I got LCM with t300rs and custom Rim so always playing with all windows open :D. Depending on the price of the new base might get used TGT2 or whatever they're releasing. I race in VR too so thought the new rims sound good too me.

Cool review. Thanks. I love how you stand by your decision to race with the TGT II. My sim racing life started on the cheapest logitech and i transitioned to thrustmaster and upgraded over time to the t300. Never actually got to try the tgt. Then jumped to dd wheel.with the logitech gpro. The move, and i qualify that i dont do well with change😊 was very jarring to the point i thought i had made a huge mistake but over time and with the help of this community i found settings that blow me away when playing in vr on gt7. But i still find myself wondering if i will get the same feedback on the tgt. Its mad how this hobby has you always looking fir that next best upgrade.

I'm was already in the Thrustmaster eco system and the T-GT II never has me feeling like I'm missing out on something. Next upgrade would of course be a Thrustmaster console compatible DD wheel but until then, my T-GT II is treating me well.

I wanted to buy TGT-II as a christmas present. But I just found it on sale and I can get the base for 300 euros. Looks like it's a good deal :)

Where is it this cheap in europe?
@fixing_the_shadow5 ай бұрын
@@Marco92Z07 In Poland. But looks like I was thinking too long and missed this sale, so now it's only available for 380 euros. But still a good deal.

Did you feel worse force feedback on this wheel as its weight more than your open wheel rim ?
@thecasualracinggamer3 ай бұрын
I did turn the force feedback up a little more with it.

Hey man good review, have you tried the psvr2 on pc /iracing yet ? It's actually really good when you get the settings right ✅️ I ve been streaming gt7 and iracing its annoying switching from the t818 to the tgt-2. I wish I knew the were releasing the ps5/pc DD I would have waited for it 😫
@thecasualracinggamer5 ай бұрын
I did a PSVR2 with iRacing video when the adapter released. Will you purchase a Thrustmaster DD wheel that supports console?
@NZSIMRACER5 ай бұрын
@@thecasualracinggamer might just get the new dd and a separate rig for Playstation so I've got pc t818 and ps5 new TM dd 🙄

@@thecasualracinggamer and just swap the plug for psvr2 between pc and ps5 witch is super easy 👌🏻

I've never used a wheel coz my son had one and it was complicated to set up right,so my question is how easy is it to set up ?
@thecasualracinggamer5 ай бұрын
For console, they are basically plug and play. For PC, each game usually has a lot of settings to play with to get things right. Not that it's hard to get working on PC, just requires more fiddling in game usually.
@GregoryShtevensh5 ай бұрын
Its truly not that complicated. Yiud be surprised how many people would voluntarily assist you or guide you in the setup process. Discord, Facebook, KZbin, Reddit. All good places to get advice.

People are way too hard on TM. They actually make excellent HW! Ive never owmed their stuff tbh. But that's just by circumstances, i went from Logitech straight to Fanatec DD. But the TM bases are solid from what I can see. Look at Goosiest - he drifts like DK on the T300

i still have t-lcm pedals with my g pro and gt neo wheel on pc.. they are decent and would bbe the best load cell pedals fro the price if it want for simjack/simmson which are the same kinda of price ut copys of very high end pedals.. i plan to move to them as they are fully modular but im still very happy with hw my trust tm pedals have performed

Mine has not worked right yet. Did the firmware for both tgt2 and the evo, can't get about 4 laps in, then it goes crazy, activating the share button, paddles stop shifting, and LEDs staying on, unplugging and plugging it back in doesn't help, re doing the firmware over again is pointless, the wire is not pinched, the terminal block is in correctly, buyer beware.....
@thecasualracinggamer2 ай бұрын
Why not exchange for another one and see if maybe it's defective? I have not had any issues with mine.

I have the older R383 rally wheel which also works, this new one looks nice with all the buttons. I usually keep the PS5 controller around for when I need to go through a lot of menus.

@thecasualracinggamer5 ай бұрын
I respect your opinion. Not saying a DD wheel isn't better, but I'm just curious if you have ever tried a T-GT II? Even folks who went to a DD wheel from a T-GT II usually say how well the T-GT II wheel performed for a belt driven wheel.

I agree... But then again my Dad has the CSL Elite and I have the CSL DD 8nm. And tbh, his base is almost just as good, apart from some extra noise
