never even knew you played this hack but the amount of effort that went into this video is mind boggling to me. as a casual enjoyer of sms speedrunning seeing all of the little trivia tidbits adds so much knowledge to the experience and makes me appreciate the effort that went into this massive journey way more. never even knew there were clips, tricks, and secrets like the one this hack showcased, let alone how much time it must've taken to discover on a relatively blind playthrough (despite the fact the man is a sms legend). probably the most amazing video related to sms i've watched since the 100% TAS was completed. this video deserves way more recognition than it has. bravo.

Allright, done. Usually for those kind of long supercut or "let's play" videos I would put them in the background and miss 70% of the cool stuff but not this time. Over the course of the days since this got uploaded I watched this on short sessions, just to stay focused and miss as little as possible about all the cool strats and cool ideas to rearange the game. This was FANTASTIC, an amazing hack with somehow an even more amazing host. I'm looking forward to actually look at the unedited streams (in the background) to see all that we missed here, the learning the discoveries the tests. You inspire me trey, I’ve been playing Sunshine since 02 but you inspired me to unprofessionally speedrun this game! I have mild cerebral palsy so I’m confined to a wheelchair and talk with a slight stutter, but you inspired me to “get good” at the game and while I’m not nearly as good as you or any of the pro speedrunners I can do fancy moves like bufferd spin jumps and even can consistently rotate the control stick which believe me as a man with Cerebral Palsy it’s harder for a person like me! Since practicing sunshine for a good while I’ve tried to speed run other games I love like, Luigi’s Mansion, Tak and the Power of Juju, Resident Evil 4, SpongeBob Battle for Bikini Bottom, Pac-Man world 1 and 2 and of course Super Mario Sunshine! Anyway I know this is a long message but you and the legendary SHIFT made an impact on my life so if you see this thank you and I hope you continue with runs and make sunshine content! P.S your individual level videos are great you should do one on Gelato 8 and Painta 8!
